Alex I don’t suppose you’ve made any decisions for the dates of the Sydney Affiliate Conference yet?
I think if people start booking flights now it’s bound to be less expensive (hint hint everyone)
Who is coming BTW? (This was formerly known as CAP Down Under)
Cheers

Rewards AffiliatesSeptember 23, 2009 at 2:30 am #804265NicoleSimsMemberI wouldn’t miss it!
I’m worried though that I won’t be able to network properly without travelling for a least a day, so perhaps I should drive to Sydney instead of flying?
:roflmao:
Cheers

Sydney’s Star City Casino or Melbourne’s Crown Casino? “Let the battle begin”, to quote Hulk Hogan on his upcoming Hulkamania tour of Australia.
By the way, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair both also have business deals with gaming and igaming firms. We’re involved in some of the action re the wrestling and gaming connection. Woooo!
As “Rowdy” Roddy Piper says, “Just when they think they have the answers, I change the questions”. And “Goanna Jr”… James Packer… Internet is like electricity.

Back on track to my original post… Who is coming?
September 23, 2009 at 8:55 am #804275sukjo1MemberYes, I’m there, plus at least one more from Team Media Man Australia.
In the coming days and weeks things will become clearer re CAP – Sydney – Melbourne – Star City Casino – Crown Casino, or an X factor, and people and brands will jockey for position.
Some folks may be holding their cards close to their chests at the moment. A little birdie told me that Star City Casino is open to igaming, and Crown Casino is certainly open, and an old mate of the Media Man’s runs the Crown events these days.
As more informations come to light, this may or may not influence who is coming, why, and with what main objectives and prime mission.
The Asia Pacific region remains fertile ground, and some may view it as the promised land, especially in light of recent developments in the EU.
In the near future words from a wise man will be able to be applied to the Australian region of the igaming and gaming world…
The Book of Army Management says: “On the field of battle, the spoken word does not carry far enough: hence the institution of gongs and drums. Nor can ordinary objects be seen clearly enough: hence the institution of banners and flags” – Sun Tzu

Re. down under..
Is there any news regarding the date that I missed? Is in in March (http://www.igbaffiliate.com/content/events)
or November? (http://www.igamingbusiness.com/content/igb-downunder)
If november, I’m not going to make it.. if March I might sit on the plane for 24 hours..
September 23, 2009 at 10:57 pm #804329NicoleSimsMemberI believe it’s in March – I’ll be there!

Alex mentioned that it was moved to March. So I guess you’ll be heading down then eh?
Dates aren’t confirmed yet though, which is why I posted… I’m hoping Alex has chosen a date so I can start rounding up some affs to get their asses down to our sunshine
