I consider promoting sport betting but I heard that the exposure from a legal point of view is much higher than casino.
Does anyone know what the difference is?

From my readings I also get the feeling that regulators and any of the ancient, unclear laws that seek to govern the US in this area seem to be more concerned with sports betting than casino.
I would think that when it comes to getting a percentage of losses as an affiliate, sports betting could be more risky than casino.
It would be great to get some more discussion and responses in the legal issues sections of CAP.
I’m no lawyer, and this isn’t legal advice, but to the best of my knowledge, the Wire Act was aimed specifically at sports betting. You might try doing a search for “jay cohen” in Google; some of the information about his court case might or might not apply to your situation.
If you are not operating out of US or europe, US and european laws are not your laws. You need to look at your own jurisdiction.
