interesting to see this guy on the homepage of the forum.. aptly in the warnings forum..
this guy Edward ihre is 1 of the biggest igaming idiot spammers ever. Pretty sure I’ve been spammed by him about 30 times on Linkedin and via email. Fail… Warning….
CAP – sponsored by filthy spammers.
April 19, 2012 at 3:49 pm #823668AnonymousInactiveHow odd!
I never saw that before.Wonder why his site says “Edward Ihre is your go-to guy for any hard to reach potential clients in the industry. He’s worked in the online gaming industry for years, and there’s not one person or email address that Edward cannot get a hold of for you.

some people are easily impressed by idiots.

First and foremost, Ihre Consulting is not paying CAP for any sponsorship. They are classified as a sponsor of our “CAP Affiliate Scams” section in exchange for keeping our community notified of any affiliates who are scraping other sites or doing fraudulent deals with operators.
This is the first time I have heard of Edward ever “spamming” anyone as I have known him personally for 7+ years and consider him a trustworthy and professional individual.
If you can post some proof of your claims, then we will take appropriate action.
April 19, 2012 at 7:33 pm #823681paulosMemberlol srlsy the guy jus spammed me again 28 mins ago.

What a stupid reply.
I never subscribed to his list let alone on 4 different email accounts which are somehow on there.. Why on earth would I respond to spam?
Why the hell should i have to un-subscribe from a list i never opted in to..?? duh
Spam + idiocy. What a “great guy” – give me a break.

Sorry OBR, I didn’t realise that you haven’t subscribed to the list
You’re right 🙁

OBR, I’ve had just about enough of you. Keep your antics up and you’ll be booted from the community. slotsaff was clearly just trying to help, and you respond like this? You act like he knew you hadn’t subscribed.
Your negativity isn’t welcome in this community. This is your last and final warning.
April 23, 2012 at 4:32 pm #823768AnonymousInactiveI see these emails as well. I usually ignore all these though.

Arjun
say what? he clearly didn’t read the thread and replied with an irrelevant and 100% stupid reply. Try reprimanding him for being OT not me…….
Also, Is it my faiult that you choose to advocate spam to your members, and that you advertise known spammers on your homepage? No.
If I hadn’t brought this to the attention of the “community” as you put it (seemingly when it suits you), would anyone else.??
as for “antics” ? – Let’s be clear here – I’ve done nothing wrong. – and I think the fact that you post this message [or rather scathing attack] on me in a public thread shows little class and taste. I’ve openly criticised your WEAK SEO articles (e.g. http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/blog/google-author-rank-link-building/ which is INCREDIBLY misleading, as google hasn’t officially even mentioned Author Rank..) , and I’ve called out mr Ihre w/ proof. Is there something I am missing here ?
As for getting “booted from the community” (some community in that case..) go for it. I’m sure CAP will benefit from the free publicity I give you when I post all communications I have had with you.
If this is how you treat your community, I don’t want to be a part of it anyway.
This thread is funny – a classic example of how NOT to run a community, how NOT to moderate – and how to be obnoxious to your punters.
Well done Arjun – next time maybe try using a PM.
April 24, 2012 at 12:40 pm #823792EuroAffiliatesMemberHi OBR et al
I am sorry to hear that you have been involuntarily been added to our mail out list as that list contains affiliates that either of us at Ihre Consulting have worked with in the past or by affiliates submitting their details via our website to start receiving them. In your case, it doesnt seem to apply. We have made it VERY easy for affiliates wishing NOT to receive our newsletters or emails, to simply unsubscribe from it, which is litteraly one click away (you will find the link at the bottom of the newsletter) so suggest you do that and hopefully that will settle the matter and the name calling. If any further issue, please feel free to contact me personally (as can anyone else in this forum). I always appreciate feedback. all the very best/Edward

please explain how 4 of my email addresses ended up on your list.
Making it easy for someone to unsubscribe when they haven’t ever subscribed is not the point.
No name calling? A shoe is a shoe.
I never ever EVER opted in to your list, yet I’m on it FOUR times.
So yes – I don’t like / approve of your methods, and until you can prove otherwise, I guess i’ll call you a spammer because you have spammed me and others…
your defence is funny / lame incidentally. How strange that others in the CAP community are also thumbs-upping this thread, and saying “oh I got those spams too..”
I hope you “appreciate the feedback” and stop spamming affiliates.

1. To be in adherence with the Spam Act, you would need to send an email from the PREVIOUS opt in organization and direct them to opt into the new one. You can not simply take a mailing list from a previous affiliate group and send them under your name.
2. If your group takes all the email from past affiliate groups that would also fall under a violation most likely from the past aff group.
3. putting a bad taste into affiliates mouth wont generate business, I have purposely avoided programs that mail me directly when I did not ask for anything, or did not come with a real explanation on how they contacted me at an unpublished address.

OBR – Agreed. Let’s take this discussion via PM so that the issues with the e-mails you’re receiving from ihre can get resolved.
