InactiveIm curious how members do with specialty sites regarding games like Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, etc
According to overture the search results for these terms are as follows : (course I understand these #’s are inflated by webmasters like you and me who are always searching the terms.)
64149 roulette
49282 craps
24865 baccaratWhich is only a fraction of terms like poker which has 574236
So how have you done with these type sites / domain names?
Come on dont be shy and by all means dont let a little competition direct your comments.

InactiveHey Arkyt,
I am wondering the same thing to.You are right about the search numbers being inflated by webmasters. In my opinion I believe these terms are not as good of converting traffic as one might think considering the difficulty of new players being able to make a deposit these days. Still traffic is traffic as long as it is real people of course. It will be interesting hearing comments on this subject.

MemberThe traffic to the smaller terms IS nominal and inflated by casinos and affiliates doing searchs to check position.

InactiveI did have a few speciality domain names but never pursued them with a vengeance, in fact I ended up letting them slip…partly due to my own disinterest in roulette, baccarat.
I do have tripoker.com though and that dominates google though the conversions are hard to tell it appears to be mostly visitors wanting to know what the game is. It is a build and forget site.
I just checked the logs for it, iterestingly no searches for tri poker or tripoker both of which hold the no.1 spot in google:

InactiveNot sure about sites that are specializing in this niches. I have in the past targeted similiar key phrases with landing pages specific to these niches and the conversions where less than more general terms used on Overture.
In addition, the traffic was obviously very small and I concluded early that these niche markets may bring the odd player but they are better as a compliment to an existing general casino site than a stand alone effort.
Things may have changed in the last 1-1/2 to 2 years since I tried this but I won’t be targetting these niches again anytime soon.
If you can find different results then all the power to you cause you made a niche market work for you!

Inactivei have a roulette site. it must get some traffic because i just picked up a real at cCoins from it. poor bugger couldn’t sucessfully deposit though, so he’s a “non-depositing real”. that term shouldn’t even exist, damn purchasing problems.
but i expect nothing more than the odd player, and am not rushing out to build more niche sites. i was just short on good ideas and long on time one week a couple of months ago.
