    and

    I cannot forward it to you as my ISP correctly blocks it as spam – don’t let any more of this to be sent to me.

    Hi FictionNet;

    There are no tags in the links posted so please could you try saving the file as an HTML doc on your desktop, and then send it as an attachment to [email protected] ? Perhaps we can identify the offender form the mailer.

    Thanks,

    Marvyn

    Unfortunately this means there’s not much we can do as we have no way of finding out who the offending affiliate is.

    If and when you receive a new mailer from this person, please could you save it as an attachemnt and send along to me?

    Thanks,

    Marvyn H

    Just received another – this time for 7 Sultans, linking to:
    http://trk.quiktechs.com/knmfl_mlffn_jijj_wzMLzzDdMCtJpzAKJwbLzbtD.htm

    I just tried to send it as HTML as recommended but the ISP still blocks it – clearly it’s well known spam that’s promoting you and it’s being identified as such.

    OK, with that I am able to track down that this is a publisher with SlickStreet Marketing.

    Please email me, [email protected], your email address that this is being sent to so that SlickStreet can contact the publisher and get them to unsubscribe you?

    Thank you,

    Marvyn

    I’ll also expect to be told why they were e-mailing me in the first place – I didn’t subscribe so they’re illegally spamming on your behalf.

    SlickStreet have advised that they will have your address unsubscribed by the publisher.

    Thanks,

    Marvyn H

    I reiterate: “I’ll also expect to be told why they were e-mailing me in the first place – I didn’t subscribe so they’re illegally spamming on your behalf.”

    Please post the findings in this thread for us all to see.

    Hi;

    The answer from SlickStreet: “The publisher is a 3rd party advertiser who receives emails from individuals who have added their email addresses to a mailing list.”

    They have also asked that if you have any further queries regarding this issue, to please email them. I have sent the email address to you.

    Thanks,

    Marvyn

    Thanks for the reply but I did not subscribe. They have spammed on your behalf and, no doubt, will do it again.
