Program is called Britain’s first live TV Blackjack game, and is offered free on Sky Satellite TV and online
November 6, 2008 — Smart Live Casino has announced the launch of what it is calling “Britain’s first live TV blackjack show”.
“For the first time, U.K. blackjack players will be able to play live TV blackjack from the comfort of their own home,” stated the company in a news release. “The action is overseen by fully accredited professional croupiers and casino managers, and viewers are encouraged to interact with the show using the live chat and presenter email facilities.”
Smart Live began broadcasting the new feature on Wednesday, 12 November, on Casino TV (Sky Channel 870). The program will air every Monday to Friday between 7pm and 3am. Players without Sky TV can view the program using Smart Live’s live video service, streamed via smartliveblackjack.com.
Smart Live Casino Manager Dominic Bourke commented: “It’s a real breakthrough – we’re very excited about the prospect of bringing blackjack to living rooms around Britain!
“Smart Live customers know to expect excellence in live gaming, and I’m sure that our blackjack show is going to be another great success.”
Smart Live Casino will expand the service over the coming months, including a full weekend service and a broadcast slot on the Freeview Terrestrial Digital Service.
