Hey everyone,
I am in the midst of creating a slots contest which will be ready in days… This contest will be unique in the fact that I am also creating a way to allow ANYONE to promote that contest.
Here is my idea:
YOU would send a user to my contest information page via a link custom to your SITEID. (Example:
)
When you send the user over, a cookie is set (and will persist for the length of the contest) so that YOUR affiliate links are shown throughout the Contest pages to that user. This means – that any signup to the casino would be tracked to YOU and signed up to the casino through YOUR link.
Basically – all banners are changed to your afflink as well as text links.
I believe this would allow many of us to work together to create a REAL slots contest with a number of players… Please let me know WHO is interested as I am going to be starting up this ‘referrer’ program REALLY soon (within 1-2 days).
Also – all my slots contests are for EXISTING as well as new players, so it would be a good way to get your players spending a little $$$ also.

Thats interesting, so in order to fill the contest and make things busy a number of sites join together but each keeps his/her own referrals?

What does this mean? It means that if your player EVER comes back for any contest – YOU get credit through your affiliate link that you set up. NO MATTER WHAT.
I don’t steal players – I just get the advantage of having a contest with more than just a few players.
How do we all win?? Well, if it is an existing player – they play more… If it is a new player – you get a new signup.

A new update:
The tracking system will be in place this evening if all things go well… That will allow:
1. A Webmaster to set up an ‘account’. This account lets you set up YOUR affiliate links (used during a slots contest – this is the affiliate link to the casino(s) that the contest is for)
2. A Webmaster gets their direct link to the slots contest which will COMPLETELY track that user and use THEIR affiliate links
3. A Webmaster can view all hits to the contest as well as signups to the contest itself (including player nick name for contest).
4. All future slots contests will use the Webmasters default tracking and affiliate URL when that player comes back to the site – which means my links will never display for that user.

Are you saying that no matter where on your site my player goes, he will see only my links? And that holds true forever?

Basically they would be in the ‘Slots Contest’ section of the site. In this section of the site, they would only see your links… To do that globally would mean that I would have to use ALL your affiliate links for ALL your casinos – that would probably slow my site to a crawl after a few webmasters signed up
SO – Yes, this is only for the contest itself – not for my main site area.
I hope that makes sense and doesn’t deter anyone?

I would feel a lot better about it if this was a seperate site of it’s own. Just the contests.

Just the contests.I understand… Personally, I think it would be a great way for any webmaster to get their players to start spending a little more cash in the name of prizes. I also think it will be better if there are more players – which is why I am doing this.
PLUS – for forum-based sites – it is a great way to send players to a contest on another site all the while keeping those players tagged to you.
However – More to your point….
I just don’t have the time to create another complete site just for this type of thing, though.
I already spend way too much time on my current sites, including AGD which takes up most of my time.Would it help to put up links such as….
‘You came from: Games & Casino Website’ (linked back, of course)
or anything else like that which would help to convince you and others to participate?

You can enter the Slots Contest, send players, or both! Since I am running the contest, it is not unethical for YOU to both play and sign players up for it.
The prizes are: $300, $150, and $50

To PROMOTE the contest with YOUR affiliate links:

2. Then login with the username / password you just registered with
3. Now – Add your Hype Affiliate Link in the box called ‘YOUR Affiliate Link to Hype Casino:’ and give it a description.
4. Use the link called ‘Your Contest Link:’ to promote the contest.. you will notice that this link to the contest will change all affiliate links to YOUR OWN (indefinitely for all contest pages).
It’s simple and a great way to get your players playing… This contest is open to ALL players existing and new
