Hi,
whenever did you announce by email or otherwise that you changed the Italian domain from xhttp://www.spinpalace.com/italian_casino/ to xhttp://www.spinaffs.com/italian_casino/ ? I never received any notification about this and to my great dismay I only found out today that I kept sending traffic to the first url for the last couple of months which I might as well have sent down the toilet straight away. Or better yet it did somehow work at least as downloading and everything else is concerned I just didn’t get credit for it since “the link wasn’t up to date”??
I only became aware of this through your latest announcement that there is yet another change to the url listed within your backend. Please tell me the backend isn’t the only place you let affiliates know about these changes.
April 10, 2008 at 8:12 pm #765408LucretiaMemberWGS sent me the notification of the italian aff. url change on the 7th of April. So we have adjust our links instantly, and you as a dedicated affiliate will do this asap ofcourse. What a nonsense WGS do you think we have time to do this within a day?
Go ahead WGS and change all your links, I will too
Sometimes I think some programs are selfdestructing by their act of conduct.

April 11, 2008 at 5:12 pm #765463AnonymousInactiveAre you going to shed any light on this at all? This is a legitimate concern that for some reason I do not seem to be included in mailings regarding changes of the Italian urls. I have sent traffic since August 07 to xhttp://www.spinpalace.com/italian_casino/ until yesterday. I’m not happy that in that time I got no notification about a link change whatsoever.
Could you tell us how you will ensure in the future that everyone who actually promotes a language specific site will be notified of changes?
April 11, 2008 at 5:32 pm #765465LucretiaMemberIt is the other way around :
Spin Palace has changed the domain they use in the Italian market from xxhttp://www.spinaffs.com/italian_casino/ to xxhttp://www.spinpalaceitaly.com/italian_casino/.
Please make sure you update all your Italian Spin Palace links to the new format – xxhttp://www.spinpalaceitaly.com/italian_casino/index.asp?s=wgsXXXX as soon as possible as the spinaffs.com will no longer work for visitors from Italy.April 11, 2008 at 5:39 pm #765468AnonymousInactivei got the email and agree though that the time frame to update was not there.
Imagine you are on holiday…
Anyway i updated same day and my traffic is not italian so i think max 1 click was lost.
April 11, 2008 at 8:09 pm #765486AnonymousInactiveRick,
it’s like I said. The last time I heard about links was in June of 2007 – notice the domain xhttp://www.spinpalace.com
Then in between there must have been another mysterious change of domain that went completely without anyone notifying me and that one wasn’t even announced in the backend I’m pretty sure.at some point in time unknown to me they changed xhttp://www.spinpalace.com to xhttp://www.spinaffs.com/italian_casino/
Now only due to the announcement of the last of the two changes did I become aware of this whole mess and woke up to the fact that I’ve been sending my traffic into a big dark whole for a year. I didn’t have much reason to suspect anything since clicks always recorded but I am almost certain that click tracking worked but Italian players couldn’t play at the domains I sent them to due to the ISP block. So there I am sending free traffic to Wagershare for almost a year and they have nothing to say about it.
April 11, 2008 at 8:46 pm #765492LucretiaMemberThat WGS does not say anything to you about this is very awful.
Maybe it is time to make up your mind and:cappy:for something else to promote.I wonder why WGS does not respond here.

April 13, 2008 at 4:21 pm #765573AnonymousInactiveWhen do they ever announce anything, their arrogance is appalling!
April 13, 2008 at 6:31 pm #765576AnonymousInactiveThis is likely a reaction to the recent italian blocking of gambling sites (yes, they are at it again). They blocked some Everest also and those links changed in a jiffy….
April 13, 2008 at 6:58 pm #765577AnonymousInactiveYes that’s the reason but they could make sure they have an announcement system that actually works. And even if it had worked as Rick said it was ridiculously short notice.
April 13, 2008 at 7:43 pm #765578AnonymousInactiveI got a mail that seemed to be a mail to all affs and if the site is down for the target audience, there isn’t any time to wait to change the link. The program doesn’t have control over whether the Italians block a site or not. If it’s blocked, it’s blocked, and the sooner we have an alternative the better. Otherwise we just shoot players into cyberspace.
April 13, 2008 at 8:21 pm #765581frankBPMemberIf the change was in reaction an unforeseen blocking of the site by the Italian authorities then the announcement was always going to be retroactive. In that case, perhaps they acted as quickly as they could. To be fair, I got an email and a message on the stats login page. It’s not an ideal situation, but perhaps they handled it as well as might be expected…
