After CAP Spring Break, I was looking for a great all around gambling information portal web address and was surprised this one was available. I snapped it up, and threw a page together. I know I have a long way to go with content and haven’t touched SEO at all, but I wanted to see what the first impressions were. I pretty much coded it by hand so it shouldn’t be too bloated. In particular, this was my first stab at logo creation, and I am not sure if I like the results or not. Thoughts?
I wanted have much more content than banners, and provide in line linking to vendors for particular events rather than flashing “Click Here!”‘s all over the place. I also wanted to focus a lot on the entertainment sector since I talked with so many people that felt that was where a growth opportunity was. 100% sports sites are a dime a dozen, so while I wanted sports content, I didn’t want that to be all my site provided.
I know my subpages are pretty bare bones as well, I guess I am just looking for proof of concept and that I am heading in the right direction before this thing takes a life of its own.
