Just to add to your woes, when I visit the Cirrus Casino (UK) website and click ‘Instant Play’ it takes me to:
http://webplay.cirruscasino.co.uk/
It’s a 404 error page.
May 30, 2008 at 11:17 pm #768961beachman1975MemberHi again:
We are sure there was no attempt to create two accounts, and personally I agree there are still some bugs they need to work out on the sign up side of things… we have alerted the casino folks to your comments so they can address and fix these…
I will have the affiliate programmer team here look into the tracking links to make sure they are all working correctly also… I personally checked your link (as you included in your post just now) and it definitely takes you to, and tracks to Cirrus UK… so somehow you must have found and clicked something to have set up a Cirrus US account – there’s no other way that could have happened… in any event, at least we resolved the main question which was about the accuracy of the financials and stats, which I am happy to say are indeed accurate.
Yes, you are correct, there are lots of little bugs to fix, and some more major issues we are addressing, but we are tackling all of these as quickly as we can do them right. (Frankly the entire Gambling Wages web site needs a complete re-do, and we are going to do that as well). It’s a lot more than many other affiliate programs can say, and we have no doubt that we will get there soon. We are not going to settle for less than the best we can possibly be, and I really hope that our responses and what we’ve been able to show you in this past day or two alone is demonstrative of this.
There’s nothing that we cannot address or fix, and the most important aspect of course is to make sure that our affiliates are responded to, get accurate stats and payments and that we build this into a mutually profitable program for all of us.
Thanks for being so candid and detailed, it helps us get to the root of any issues. Tomorrow starts a new month, and we’d love to send you a big commission payment next month; hope you will become a very active affiliate, and please stay in touch with any other questions that might come up.
Cheers,
Frazier

“We registered our new player account and attempted to log in, only to be told that our username did not exist. We know this wasn’t correct because we’d registered only a few seconds previously! We tried twice more and were unceremoniously kicked out of the games software.
We decided to try again. We did this, and registered as a new player again. This time when we tried to log in, it worked. And the software appeared to have been installed successfully. In fact, we noticed that we now seemed to have TWO installations on our PC – one called Cirrus Casino and the other Cirrus Casino UK.”
It’s a bit worrying that the US$ account was created as as US$ and not UK£ account. And more so that it was not tracked to my aff account – as I only visited the casino website via the same link, being as follows:
http://www.gamblingwages.com/lndpag.aspx?usrid=7237&lndId=18
Now, that’s the only link I ever pulled from your system. It takes me to the UK version of Cirrus Casino so any download or registration that followed from visiting that link should have been done as UK£.
I do appreciate you taking the time to look into all of this but – I gotta be honest with you – there’s an awful lot going wrong here.
May 30, 2008 at 11:39 pm #768964AnonymousInactiveOkay, Frazier. I’ll let you go – for now :wink-wink – to enjoy the weekend.
If I can make one suggestion, when you re-design the website(s), please have at least one fussy-as-fuck affiliate go over it and test the living hell out of it. I’d be more than happy to have a crack myself.
May 31, 2008 at 2:13 pm #768983beachman1975MemberThanks, your suggestion is a good one, and we would certainly consider having a few such affiliates provide input… perhaps you just might qualify in this category… We’ll be in touch…
