In 2000, my brother saw how much I was making from being an affiliate, and his being an habitual complainer, I told him I would get him started. I got him a free web site and showed him by going to my site and joining the aff programs, we both get commissions. But I stipulated…you have got to WORK at it. Two years had gone by and he never made a cent and actually accused me as to the reason why because he joined off my site. But he NEVER worked at it.
I’ve fallen victims to scams b4…..$1500 for guranteed SEO and placement, which did work but I was never told it would be $1500 a month. I won a fraud suit against them and they had to give me my initial $1500 back as well as the second charge of 1500.
I agree with Gooner where it could very well have meant $25000 in months 24-26. There are so many scams on the net and everyone likes to believe, as well as myself, there’s got to be 1 honest company out there.
It sounds like she never made an effort to make it work and unless you get started on the ground floor in the infant stages, the ROI take time and patience. I’m sure alot of aff’s here could have done the same thing and made it work as I don’t think any of us would expect $25,000 in the first 3 months.
