FYI
Affiliate lounge has never been a stellar producer for me. Other then a few bigger months where I earned $4k or so they mostly stay around $1000. I tolerate this because I like their free games and they have no front page or premium spots on my sites. Well, in October my commissions for the month were $1270. So I was neither bowled over or upset, it was business as usual. All the way up to October 20th my stats showed a commission due of $1270. Then magically on pay day that figure suddenly changed to a NEGATIVE balance of $28!!!!!! I went balisitic and wrote to Rick and sent the following:Hello Rick,
I am EXTREMELY unhappy with what happened to my stats. I checked my stats daily and up until Saturday (the 20th) of the month the stats indicated I earned over $1200 in October. I have been awaiting payment and had budgeted my advertising and your exposure based upon that figure. Since Saturday was the 20th I assumed I would be paid the commissions due me. Instead when I logged in my stats were CHANGED to show I have a NEGATIVE balance for October!!!!! This is ridiculous and highly dishonest I am extremely mad that you would think I am SO stupid that I wouldn’t notice a trick like this. This is horrible!!! I have promoted you guys for a long time despite low earnings, I did so basically because I enjoyed the free games content for my sites, but I will not tolerate having the little bit of commission I did earn being stolen so brazenly. I am hoping that by writing you can tell me this all just a big mistake and not a big rip off instead. Please review my account and process the commission due me for October and let me know why the system had this glitch.Here’s his response. Because there is basically nothing we can do about it I am going to let this fucker slide this month. But if it happens again I will be publically kicking their ass on every forum I can find.

I wish I had better news for you, I can only offer you the truth with this situation. We process all affiliate payments on the 20th of every month, and prior to those processed payments, we must remove fraudulent players from our affiliate casinos databases. This typically will affect only a few affiliates, and not always very much. Every now and then we get a situation like yours where the fraud from one or more players has been so great that it greatly affects the bottom line for us and an affiliate. In this case we did receive fraudulent play from players you had referred that was to cost us thousands. They were removed from our system for obvious reasons and that means your commission dropped rapidly as well.
Louis, I assure you it’s not a trick and that we’re not stealing your money. In my almost two years with Affiliate Lounge this is only the second time I’ve seen fraud take place of this level, it’s not something we typically see happen. I do apologize profusely that we didn’t catch the fraud earlier, but there’s nothing I can do at this time to change things.
This program to me is the same as Casino Coins. Whether I promote them or not, my stats are always the same.
I can pull all their links and it’s the same as when I give them good spots. All the same down to the number of visits.
That means they have me on some kind of autopilot and it’s unethical.
Both Casino Coins and Affiliate Lounge do this to me.
I want to see cause and effect in a program. When I send less traffic, I should see that in my stats. If I don’t I must believe it is foul play.
I pretty much agree with Dom on this. No matter what we do, whether we send 1 click or 30 in a day, it’s the same, one or two depositors a month if we’re lucky.
And like Lou, I only keep them up cause the free games get some attention.
Lou, please keep us updated on this, I have no problem pulling them down if that happens to you again.

ouch – its always been an enigma for me as to why with some programs I average the same profits month in and month out regardless of traffic sent.
For instance with Casino Rewards I averaged more or less the same profits for 2 1/2 years – didnt matter if I was sending 3000 hits or 200 Id make the same at the end of the month +/- a few hundred …
Well as you might be aware of I had a go around with them in September I think it was and since then my stats have taken a dive 1/10 of what I was making. HOW do you average the same for 2 1/2yrs then all of a sudden fall off the face of the earth?

Same thing happened to me with Fallen Star – had a bout with Marlo and presto all my profits vanished! All players stopped playing still to this day I have NEVER seen another dime !!!

I have been voicing my disappointment about these kinds
of things for years … unfortunately too many webmasters
would rather stay with the status quo and make their peanuts
rather than make it an issue for change for the better for all …
the low barriers to entry for new webmasters garantees that the
situation will likely not change.

I wrote Gareth an email the other day and he responded saying your conversions are very low, but you still have made 200, 300 100 the last three months! I was like WHAT THE FUCK – why is he quoting those low ball numbers to me? The only reason I could think of was that he was Blind Copying someone else the email to try and make it look like I was only making a few hundred instead of the 10x those amounts I actually have been.
If Casino Rewards clients conversions suck as he stated and retention sucks as I have proven by my sudden decline in stats (*I dont think it has anything to do with that) WHY should anyone send them hits?
* No way in hell I can make [+/- a few hundred] the same average income for 2 1/2 years regardless of sending 3000 hits or 200 hits – then speak my mind and a month later take a major nose dive. THAT IS NOT COINCIDENCE !!!
If you are still making an average income with CR – WHY are you being content with the status quo? If I can get screwed so can you – dont be content. Start asking “why” today … how could you possibly be making an average income despite a growing player base? The more your base grows the more your profits should! If youve been making the same for an extended period you can bet youre being screwed. Let me know – Ill send you a bottle of vasoline!!!!

Oh, still shooting for the quality content thing….. just dumping bad programs.. :p

made due to this type of action multiplied by 1000s of other
webmasters.
I would also love to know how much shaving is REALLY going
on … my feeling is that we would be SHOCKED if we found out the

Shaving is big money for these programs no doubt!
