No payments… stats still screwed…. players still missing and non payment issues for last few months unresolved… I would say it is a reach to expect payment by Friday.
September 29, 2005 at 4:14 am #673548AnonymousInactiveWell if they dont keep their word i hope the people here will remove them.
But I do aree with you.I finaly got a double talk email and when I wrote back and said i was confused marvyn just resent the same email.
“Payments were made last week, but we noticed that certain CPA payments (only a few Affiliates) were excluded.
This was an after effect of the MGS data problems and had to do with the criteria for CPA qualification”Just what do they mean by criteria for cpa qualifacaation?
I would think I was qualified scine i been doing cpa since they started it and they have paid me like that.I just am tired of the double talk. All I ask for a clear explanation and for the problem to be resolved.
But really not much you can do when they are half way around the world.
September 29, 2005 at 10:51 am #673555vladcizsolMemberGuys you were told you would be paid this week. Please wait until Friday before making judgements or going on the war path. I will chat with David again today and ask that they get these things cleared up.
Perhaps you could keep yourselves occupied by participating in a few other conversations within the community? This constant Fortune Affiliates Jihad cant be all that entertaining.
September 29, 2005 at 11:00 am #673556AnonymousInactiveOk, finally I’ve received the payment, but i’m so tired to using those methods to get my earnings. Thanks a lot professor and Dominique, I have no words to say my gratitude to you

September 29, 2005 at 3:28 pm #673568AnonymousInactiveThis is the typical old CPA problem.
CPA keeps seducing both affiliates and casinos because both see a way to make more money than they are due. Then one or the other loses and all hell breaks lose.
With CPA, someone always loses.
The casino is here to make a profit, they are not going to pay you a penny more than the players are worth.
The affiliates are also here to make a profit. If the casino is just tickled pink that you are choosing CPA, you are likely sending them players that exceed the CPA.
The occasions where CPA and Player Value actually are equal is very rare.
If you are a new affiliate and you need cash in hand, try CPA. If you know you are succeeding in attracting good value players, switch to revenue share.
If you don’t send players that make the casino a profit on CPA, they will switch you to revenue share. If they see the type of CPA fraud that was prevalent some years ago and with which casinos were cheated out of tens of thousands, it doesn’t work anymore. Casinos have gotten smart.
Sometimes maybe casinos can be too vigilant in protecting themselves from this and things need to be worked out between partners.
I don’t know how many times I have said this.
We like to fix things here at CAP, we like both affiliates and programs to do well. We depend on each other.
For one or two persons with a specific and unique problem to make angry posts all weekend when no one is there to respond, or make angry posts while waiting for a deadline, doesn’t serve any purpose.
It just disrupts CAP.
September 29, 2005 at 4:15 pm #673574AnonymousInactiveSorry I thought this board was to state our case and posts our opinions.
Guess I was wrong?
Didnt know posting was not allowed on weekends. Forgive me must have missed that in the rules.
Dont worry I will take my disputes else where in the future. Didnt mean to disrupt your perfect world.
September 29, 2005 at 5:58 pm #673582AnonymousInactiveOk, finally I’ve received the payment, but i’m so tired to using those methods to get my earnings. Thanks a lot professor and Dominique, I have no words to say my gratitude to you, but I will not promote FA in the future anyway, I don’t think that this is the right way to work, I’m not angry, i’m furious if a casino group doesen’t reply to my emails, and this just because i take seriously my work and I want the same from the other side, this is my style, I don’t want to let anyone to do the same.
Anyway I don’t think that someone have used any inaccurate word on this post.Have a nice weekend!
September 29, 2005 at 6:15 pm #673585AnonymousInactiveGood to hear things have been resolved Detordiggei. That’s what we like to see.
I am sorry gpb, unfortunately you have not taken my post in the spirit it was meant.
September 29, 2005 at 8:30 pm #673594AnonymousInactiveThe real problem is that casinos put you in a bad position. If your player loses a million dollars they happily give you 100 or 200 for bringing them and do not think twice about taking advantage of it.
However, if you have been having traffic for months and months and all of the sudden they look and say “hey, this site is not sending the most profitable traffic and we may even be losing in some months” Then they change you to rev. share RETROACTIVELY, but not for months and months, just for the month that they lost, then tell you all your players that have been steadily playing for the last 6 months were not bad enough to warrant the 2nd tier payment, then just erase them and do not even give you rev. share for them and just state that they will not pay month after month regardless then you have a right to complain.
I don’t mind being switched to rev. share if the casino group does not think I am worth the cpa, but to do it retroactively 5 or 6 months into the agreement is absurd and the pompous attitude that the casino group thinks THEY have the right to do this is amazing… and this group is filled with lousy, lying thieves.
Period.is it a coincidence that so many are complaining? NO. They do not want to pay unless they feel heat to do so… why promote a lousy bunch like this? I certainly am done.
September 30, 2005 at 2:19 am #673609AnonymousInactiveReceived my payment too, thanks
