1.your site is reachable with and without the www!!!
    this causes 2 websites=duplicate content=penalized
    solve this asap

put this in a .htaccess file:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www.jackpotavenue.com.com [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.jackpotavenue.com//$1 [L,R=301]

    2.-your title tag
    JackpotAvenue.com The Greatest Online Casinos
should be first in your head
(mentioning your most important keyword first..is it jackpotavenue?????)

3.- the part secure certificate thing is probably caused by:
    ” img src=’https://secure.partypartners.com….etc”

4.- i wouldnt use more than 3 times the same keywords in the alt tags

    this should be a start

on googles webtools you can specifiy your domain priority. http://www.domain.com vs. domain.com.

Check it out and you’ll see what I mean.

    good luck

that’s true, but what about people that don’t use google webtools?

I’ve come across sites that even have different PR for each. Adding a little code to .htaccess quickly takes take of the problem.

Google will index both the domain and the “www” subdomain. That stuff is deprecated anyway. I have no idea why people use it. I understand in publication it is useful s it denotes a website.

As for the Google Webmaster Tools, if you use them then yes you can set the www or non-www part to be indexed.

If you don’t use Google Webmaster Tools then the chances are that Google will index both sites. I don’t think it’s a huge deal, especially if they are on the same IP. If they were on different IPs or even C Class IPs then you’d have trouble.

I would add the htaccess text that was stated above (assuming you’re using apache webserver with the rewrite engine enabled).

Oh, an I noticed you have Google Analytics code in the of your document. I believe that’s supposed to go just before the closing tag.

    Just my 2 cents..

Upon first glance of both your site and your code, I’d say you’re optimizing for the word jackpotavenue not a real big search term..

The first word in your title tag as Elgoog pointed out is JackpotAvenue ..

your h1 tag needs some keyword help.

After that there are lots of places that you could be using keywords and aren’t ..

Starting with your top navigation menu:
Our Casinos Promotions Winners Beginners Guide Customer Supp. US Legislation

Maybe .. Casino Promotions – Slots Winners – Gambling Beginners.. whatever.. I’m sure you get the idea :)

Highest jackpots – could be any jackpots, but if you use some strong tags, and the word casino, then your talking to google ..

Don’t overdue it… but get your keywords in there..use strong tags (b) italics (i)(em) .. lists.. underlines.. etc. …

I’d definitely switch up the alt tags a bit ..

Very Very nice lookin’ page btw :)

    Good Luck :)
