I agree with all of you. I know a few dishonest CAP members up to no good. One just joined about two weeks ago. I have just vented on a couple of threads and for me I cannot stand these f-in air heads. I say ban them outright and set up a forum were we can talk in detail about this problem. A place where I can devuldge very private info and invite my associates in. greek39
November 29, 2005 at 3:09 pm #677468AnonymousInactiveFWIW I think the prof is taking the right approach by allowing them to remain as members. Something about keeping your enemies close.
I’m just glad they are not allowed in this area
November 29, 2005 at 3:25 pm #677469AnonymousInactiveJust because some of these, I refer to them as black hackers, have tons of cash is meaningless. It does not make them immune to the rath of actual programmer hacker. Look at lunis the guy who designed linux very poor man but contributed so much to the net.
I say ban them, track them, hunt them down, and give a good dose of their own medicine. Enough of this bull shit already. These slimer slugs deserve it. greek39
I am faced with some hard choices hear. Do I drop my website and persue these people and relearn the dark side of the net or forget about it. The last time i did this it almost killed me 14 hours a day on a computer for months on end.
I do not feel like bothering the captain right now but does anyone know if his problem has been fixed?

November 29, 2005 at 4:31 pm #677477AnonymousInactiveProf the links you provided I assume are up to no good? Its best you keep you eyes shut. Very funny. I won’t be posting much for the next little while starting next week lets roll.greek39
November 29, 2005 at 5:25 pm #677484AnonymousInactiveThis is a private forum, and they do not have access.
And I agree about leaving them at CAP where we can see them.
November 29, 2005 at 9:28 pm #677531AnonymousGuestI have thought and been vocal to many people about what i think of playtech bunch.
people that continue to list these places only contribute to the problem because as someone else here mentioned; the damn places don’t make money anyway; at least not for most of us.
So if you’ve given these places, or for that matter any place a fair enough amount of time to start producing and you see results that are like one of the other members just mentioned; then dump ’em bigtime!
allowing links to exist on your site that belong to proven non-producers – even on back pages and obscure areas of your site: merely lets what are most likely shavers who by virtue of you’re allowing them to hang around in the shadows; can continue to pick up players which then enables that corrupt program to sit in wait for the next newbie; and they are seemingly endless; to come around the bend and fall victim to the same thing you did.
It’s like the child molester thing. If you allow them to continue to hang around they WILL strike again and in the process create more of the abused who will then help the circle to continue.
You’ve got to be adamantly ruthless.
*****************************************
the only way to fight somebody who is producing 1000 players a month : and the scumbag aff program who supports them; would be to take the route we took against those programs that tried to change our terms retro.
we need to run first page ads blacklisting the offending casinos; not the aff program they hide behind; and then, and only then, would you possibly force the offenders to see that it won’t matter how many real players they get a month; their real players who are returning ratio will fall off the charts once its gets around that the majority of the gambling websites are blacklisting the offending casinos.
We have the power; but can and will we organize enough to make it work?
November 29, 2005 at 10:06 pm #677539vladcizsolMemberThere are a few problems with this.
1. MANY of us earn significant revenue with Playtech despite their somewhat shitty behavior. Its doubtful that someone earning a good amount of money each month with Playtech is going to go to war with them directly.
2. I am dead serious when I say its very likely that the groups in question could/whould make things VERY uncomfortable on anyone they perceived to be a big enough threat. Unlike microgaming who have generally benign business owners, the folks BEHIND these groups are not very pleasant. While they are primarily based in Russia and Israel they have numerous “associates” in the United States. My advice BB1 let sleeping giants lie.
November 29, 2005 at 10:14 pm #677543AnonymousInactiveI still don’t want to link to them…. Can we at least call out the sites???
November 29, 2005 at 10:30 pm #677545vladcizsolMemberKW these guys (the affiliates) have hundreds if not thousands of sites. They email all of us daily under hundreds of assumed names like “Jessica Maynard”. They have automated scripts running that continually spider the web and shill for link exchanges. The only real way to totally avoid them is to ONLY exchange links with people you know (That’s what I do). I dont respond to any unsolicited link offers. Most webmasters DONT do this, they take these creeps at face value and put their links up when it appears they are linking out.
If you check this thread you will find a couple of sites listed, perhaps if one were to check what sites were cross linked with those …..
sneaky.gifNovember 29, 2005 at 10:41 pm #677548AnonymousInactive“Jessica Maynard” is one of them? I recognize the name; I think I may have exchanged links with him/her at some point.
I just checked — sure enough. According to my spreadsheet, he/she owns online-casinos-czar.com.
Very interesting.
November 29, 2005 at 10:53 pm #677550AnonymousInactiveDon’t ever exchange links with anyone who solicits you via email.
