That normal measures catch up to sites after a while then through fixing what’s wrong your site rises.
November 16, 2005 at 7:41 am #676581AnonymousInactiveBTW I seen three shows this week which shows how the pyramids were built. ( http://www.historychannel.com )
November 16, 2005 at 2:03 pm #676589AnonymousInactiveGravity in fact does not exist, it is a theory. You can’y point to gravity and say there it is.
I’m sorry….. Google Sandbox is one thing… Gravity is quite another. I am an engineer and this is just stupidity and hopefully just a joke trying to prove a point??
Gravity is measureable and defined. 9.8 m/s^2
BTW – if gravity did not exist, then we would have all long ago been flung from the earth due to rotation.
I suppose that trees do not produce Oxygen and humans do not exude carbon dioxide?
Whew.. OK – Back to the Sandbox!

I can now ignore all evidence to the contrary and firmly believe that there is no probationary period in Google for new websites. What a relief! :rollover:
November 16, 2005 at 4:19 pm #676610AnonymousInactiveSell me a quart of gravity if it exists, it’s just math not a thing. Like the sandbox does not exist, it is a theory and effect. I don’t think there is a sandbox but the overall effects of the process gives you the impression of one.
I will bow out on this topic now. I was amazed at the amount of time spent on it, like I said at first. No offense intended. I have spent a day posting about it myself. Peace, guys. Have fun in the sandbox.
November 16, 2005 at 4:24 pm #676611AnonymousInactiveI think you’d change your tune if a ton of bricks were about to land on your head
November 16, 2005 at 4:30 pm #676613AnonymousInactiveFreePokerLeague wrote:Sell me a quart of gravity.Well since basically everything made of the elements has it’s own gravity to a degree then how about a quart of water.
Or I’m sure you have plenty of BS:grunt: to fill 1000 quarts, imagine how much gravity that is:1Dopey:
Not only is gravity measurable, it’s also observeable just like the sandbox. You don’t really see it but you feel the effects.
Gravity is one of the many glues that bind the universe.
Don’t disrespect it or you just may have a ton of bricks fall on your head:beatup:November 16, 2005 at 4:38 pm #676616AnonymousInactiveSince you guys are basically calling me stupid, one last stab:
ex·ist [ ig zíst ] (past and past participle ex·ist·ed, present participle ex·ist·ing, 3rd person present singular ex·ists)
intransitive verb
Definitions:
1. be: to be, especially to be a real, actual, or current thing, not merely something imagined or written about
Does life exist on other planets?2. live: to be alive, or continue to live
Humans need water and food to exist.3. occur: to be present or found in a particular place or situation
Shortages exist on products in high demand.4. survive: to manage to survive or stay alive
The lost hikers existed for two days on berries.5. live an unsatisfactory life: to live an unsatisfactory, joyless, or humdrum life, as opposed to an exciting or meaningful one
simply existing from day to dayNovember 16, 2005 at 4:46 pm #676617AnonymousInactiveWayne,
I am NOT calling you stupid. I doubt you are. However, to close your mind and say something does not exist when there is absolute proof of it is limiting yourself.
The sandbox may or may not exist (original topic of thread), but many webmasters are 100% SURE of it because, even though Google has not come out and told us about it, they have felt the effects. Many of these webmasters have even tested the effect by putting up websites to see how they were affected.
Gravity. That is proven. Exists. Nothing you say will make this not so.
Just because something isn’t tangible to your senses does not mean that it doesn’t exits.
If humans didn’t actively put a sulfur-smelling agent in natural gas, we wouldn’t even know it was there until we blew ourselves up! Just because we didn’t sense it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Can someone sell you this gas? Sure! Would you believe it was there if you didn’t smell it, though?
hahaha. This is just too funny of a discussion.
Now that we KNOW (or at least we should if we have any research faculties available to us)…. Let’s concentrate on the sandbox which we are here to discuss.

November 16, 2005 at 5:04 pm #676618AnonymousInactiveAgreed, I am finished.
November 16, 2005 at 5:09 pm #676619AnonymousInactiveFree Poker League,
I’m sure your not stupid. I’m sure none of us are. (Stupid)
There may even be a few geniuses among us (Proffesor:))
Let’s aim this discussion back towards the SEO’s.:shooter:
Who has a good site reccomendation where I can go and see if I have been sandboxed???? I found one site but you have to join 3 different things to even check, hmmmmm. Sounds kinda shady to me.
Also is it possible to maintain a PR 1 or greater and still be in the sandbox???
November 16, 2005 at 6:44 pm #676622AnonymousInactivePR has nothing to do with the sandbox period. I’ve seen sites as high as PR6 that are still in the sandbox. The amount of effort and time it takes to reach a PR6 would probably be the amount of time the probationary period is set for in most cases.
The easiest way to check if you are in the sandbox is to do an allinanchor search (allinanchor:my keyword phrase) on GG for your targeted keyword and compare that to your actual rankings in GG. The allinanchor: should be within 10 or 20 spots of your actual ranking. To give you an idea, one of my keywords is:
allinanchor = 47
actual ranking = >700A simple place to check this without having to wade through the SERPs yourself is the McDar Datacenter Quick Check tool at:
http://www.mcdar.net/q-check/datatool.aspAnother way you can tell is by your Yahoo and MSN rankings as compared to GG. For the same keyword:
GG = >700
Yahoo = 11
MSN = 10That normal measures catch up to sites after a while then through fixing what’s wrong your site rises.
Freepokerleague, you seem to be suggesting there are simple triggers to release your site from the sandbox. If you know what these triggers are, please share as I would desperately like to be out of the sandbox.
November 16, 2005 at 8:28 pm #676636AnonymousInactiveGuys,
do you know an affiliate program where I could sell gravity ?
