I´m still wondering how he gets these
xhttp://return2india.com/HyperNews/get/forums/shipping/1757/5.html
links to redirect to his site. Is there a possibility to insert code in the shipping module or something (meta redirect)?
September 5, 2006 at 2:00 pm #704597AnonymousInactivedhayman good work on keeping this issue a priority. The links you have provided makes my life easier. According to the google’s guidelines any site who’s sole purpose is to redirect to another is a violation of our terms and guidelines. Google cannot set double standards in this regard, for failing to follow their own self imposed guidelines.
The last I looked at xhttp://www.casinos777portal.com I noticed secondary aff tags. For example, different aff tags for the same casino. One site with several people taking part. This site changes frequently and is part of the Cpays seo contest. I have already takin limited action, mainly on MSN. I do not beleive Cpays will do anything in this regard, so its’ up to us.
Google is working on a new jagger/algo as we speak. I am not 100% sure but the new one is jagger3.
I could take care of these for you, but would require several hours of work. But time permitting I will clean up and report back how it was done. The way in which I will bring this to google’s attention these redirects should be gone in less than a week.
I will also inform when I have takin action.

September 5, 2006 at 2:17 pm #704600AnonymousInactiveGreek,
Not sure of your methods, but I will report each day here in the morning (EST).
I report these daily to Google, and have been reporting to CPays as well. Cpays tells me “they are working on it”….blah, blah, blah……
Since I’m doing all the work for Google, I am surprised that they are not just taking these links, and removing them, since they each exhibit the same characteristics.
I agree, it is a team of people here, working together, no doubt.
September 5, 2006 at 2:24 pm #704601AnonymousInactiveOne last thing dhayman, could you possible provide me with the search phrase used in finding these links? It will cut down on the time. I will take flack for doing this.
The approach used when sumbmitting spam to google is what makes the difference. I will PM you in this regard. greek39
September 5, 2006 at 2:29 pm #704603AnonymousInactiveGreek,
I have been methodical and detailed, when reporting to Google each day. I have provided this consolidated list in EACH spam report, yet I report each link on an individual basis, as per what they expect from their spam report form.
Anyway, to answer your questions, I just searched 3 keyword phrases to get this list:

links to redirect to his site. Is there a possibility to insert code in the shipping module or something (meta redirect)?
Goldfinger,
Although I’m not positive here, I think he has already added these obscure pages into the index, long before they rear their ugly head high in the SERPs. I think they are normal pages, and once indexed in Google, he then replaces these pages with scraped content and his redirect. Since they are pages within the confines of established domains, he/she is not subject to any sort of sandbox penalty.
He/she is smart. They don’t wait for their pages to be removed — they seem to regularly add new pages, to replenish the old. It wouldn’t surprise me, if they’ve automated the entire process, and just press buttons from an engineered program, to make this shit fly.
Since I’m spending almost 1 hour a day now, reporting to Google, CPays, etc., I’m going to attempt to automate my reporting process to save time as well.

September 6, 2006 at 11:15 am #704722AnonymousInactiveHere is today’s list for a few keywords. Note that the BH’er has introduced a bunch of new pages, just since yesterday. Google’s reaction time isn’t nearly fast enough, as this trickster is releasing pages faster than Google’s ability to rid them from their index. He is smarter, and yes, he is winning. Here’s today’s motherload:

September 6, 2006 at 5:39 pm #704770AnonymousInactiveThanks Greek! Here is some more information, based upon your findings:
These domains are getting links through an auto comment spammer and forms spammer. I get TONS of daily hits from some of these addresses – specifically:
plone4artists.org
genres.syr.eduOthers are:
ikit.org
zopeuk.org
shalem.org
panarchy.com
honathonblock.com
pulseofscience.orgThe IP address that this comes in on is always the same, so this person is likely using the program either from a server or their own PC. I will trap the IP once again in the next several days to ensure I have the right one before posting it
I have a few spammers and I have all their IP’s trapped, but do not have them interlinked to their domains that they are spamming.
September 6, 2006 at 5:51 pm #704771AnonymousInactiveJust a quick check on plone4artists.org the IP is 205.234.172.104 coming out of Chicago. I would consider this to be a home user IP. The server is IP 66.225.249.114 this too suggests a home user.

September 6, 2006 at 5:59 pm #704772AnonymousInactiveI believe it was a: 195.225.17x.xxx address. I will know when they spam me tonight
September 6, 2006 at 6:12 pm #704773AnonymousInactiveNIce work, all. Of course, the main problem here is that these sites are being added faster than Google will delete them. This BH’er (or set of BH’ers, more than likely), are sophisticated enough to constantly replenish the indices with new pages, well before Google gets around to deleting the reported ones (assuming they do). I’m really not sure how to combat this sort of attack. As Greek pointed out, and I’m well aware from my daily spam reporting, it takes an aweful lot of time to go through this each day, and the returns (benefits) are questionable.
