If Lappi ( German for “little rag”) makes so much money spamming, he better get back to it before he gets blown out of the water.
Dhayman might decide to wipe google clean with Lappi.
The fact that people show up here means we are having some impact…
Well we must be doing something right. My hat goes off too dhayman, keep up the good work. I will throw in some more muscle! greek39
September 12, 2006 at 2:52 pm #705711AnonymousInactiveLOL, to all.
Of all above PLONE-based links, I’d say 75 % of them in Google, are now turning up as 404 (aka, dead links). So, please, everyone should fill out Spam reports and Dead link removals with Google, to complete the loop. I already have, but the power in numbers !
CAP rocks !
September 12, 2006 at 5:12 pm #705735AnonymousInactiveWill do this today. Thank you to all who are working so diligently on this! There is power in numbers

September 12, 2006 at 8:19 pm #705784AnonymousInactiveOMG, this guy is a Freak Show! Like his scam is ‘good SEO technique’! hahaha! Yeah right. He is obviously scared or he wouldn’t have his crony posting here (or maybe it’s him?). Dude, you need to educate yourself. There are some things that are acceptable by Google and there are some things that are not. Fake pages that redirect to another site is worse than spam. So why don’t YOU work on your SEO skills and try and get rankings Legitimately. Jeez, why do I even bother. He’s not even worth the minute it took to write this post.
September 12, 2006 at 11:07 pm #705798AnonymousInactiveI have successfully communicated with PLONE.ORG’s chieftain, and they are currently providing a fix to the hole in their S/W, and are advising all installations that I have reported, of the patch:

New CMS systems have been added to Google’s index today, via spam. Everyone needs to report these to Google. Power in numbers !!
September 12, 2006 at 11:51 pm #705801AnonymousInactiveHere’s the Spam report page for Google.

dhayman, what’s the
“Exact query that shows a problem”
“Resulting Google Page that shows probelm” – this is your list of links, no?

Which of these options are you checking? (check all that apply)
Hidden text or links
Misleading or repeated words
Page does not match Google’s description
Cloaked page
Deceptive redirects
Doorway pages
Duplicate site or pages

(this is an entry for “poker sites” page 1)Which of these options are you checking? (check all that apply)
Misleading or repeated words

Cloaked page
Deceptive redirects
Doorway pages
(I’ve been checking these 5, although almost all apply).Lots of cutting and pasting, but it takes time to report them all. Well worth the effort now, since PLONE sites are removing these pages, and they are starting to become 404 in Google.
Hope this helps !!!!

September 13, 2006 at 3:15 pm #705868AnonymousInactiveNo prob, Greek. Here is an update:
1) I successfully contacted the head of PLONE, and he has sent a document
to all installations, on how to “plug the hole” (via software update), and
he has sent a doc out on how to rid a given installation of spam. I’m
not going to post it here, so the wrong hands don’t get a copy of it.2) On a daily basis, I submit spam reports for all of Morahin’s spam sites,
for keywords “poker sites” and “casino sites”. I am now digging into the
1st 10 pages of Google for each, and yes, this is an exhaustive job.3) For those spam pages that are coming up 404 (dead pages), I am
submitting them for deletion to Google. Google only accepts links on
this tool, that are truly removed from the system. Some of the PLONE
installations have chosen to post a “Spam” page wherever there was
one, and as such, it is not coming up 404, so I cannot submit these.I need everyone’s help on this. Please follow steps # 2 and # 3 on a daily basis, and we will be rid of this PLONE spam, once and for all.
Thanks in advance.

September 15, 2006 at 5:45 am #706116AnonymousInactiveThanks, Greek. I’m afraid that if I report these too much, they are going to start ignoring me. Good to hear from others. In any event, the PLONE.ORG main contact, has been great, issuing a patch and document to rid their installations of the spam. 2 new ones that I reported to him tonight are:
xhttp://python.psu.edu
xhttp://www.zopeuk.orgHe has contacts for each installation, and has been great about getting the word out to them.
Thank you for reporting them ! It affects all of us.

September 15, 2006 at 2:30 pm #706150AnonymousInactiveThanks, Greek. Indices look much, much cleaner this morning. 90 % of PLONE references are gone. Yeah, I see some new pop-ups, and have submitted this morniing. Hope everyone else is doing the same.
