I have an idea that RTG’s cookie system is not doing well with Firefox browsers.
More info to come.

June 25, 2009 at 2:39 pm #801280BetsoftGamingMemberMe too, I do a lot of my testing in FireFox and dont see any issues.
Would be interested in this.
June 25, 2009 at 3:44 pm #801283AnonymousInactiveCan you try to register an account with firefox for the instant play (flash) casino and see if it tracks the affiliate link Martyn?
Ty,
June 25, 2009 at 8:06 pm #801294BetsoftGamingMemberHi all, sorry I did not get back to you sooner. I moved desks today and my work has been a tad unsettled.
I ran a test on this, following my test affiliate account (which is no different to any other affiliate account). I used a text link for ClubWorldCasinos and gave the link a subGID of 12345 so that I can clearly see the stats from that link.
The results are what I expected to be honest, but I will continue to check out this claim on various computers to see if I can replicate any issues.
My test player account from this FLASH test tracked 100% to my affiliate account.
Results:
Casino | SubID (12345)| Clicks (1) | Downloads (0) | Signups (1)
clubworldusd | 12345 | 1 | 0 | 1 I hope the above makes sense, it didnt display properly so tried to make it look half decent.
AFC, please let can you mail me or post here what you found so that I can investigate further? On face value all seems good from this single test.
Cheers,

Affiliates Referring Global Affiliate

(Global AID: 9555)Which I believe is the correct affiliate account.
Can you add me on MSN so that we can chat while testing this out? Or I can call whichever suits you best.
I’ll update the latest test results in a few minutes.

Affiliates Referring Global Affiliate
**Affiliate Name Removed**
(Global AID: 9555)If you want me to run another I can do, I suggest that on your link that we use a seperate SubID so that we can identify the test accounts in your stats, so you can not only take my word for it but see it in the reports at the same time.
To do this simply alter the subGID=0 in the affiliate link to any number you wish that will identify the tests such as subGID=12345. You can then report by Sub ID and it will make it a lot clearer.

June 26, 2009 at 8:47 pm #801357ggsoftwareMemberHi,
I can also confirm that Mainstreet Affiliates DOES track flash players who have signed up using Firefox. I ran tests this morning and tests tracked back to the correct affiliate.
If anyone would like to conduct their own tests, please let me know.
Regards,
Jason
June 26, 2009 at 10:15 pm #801358AnonymousInactiveOK, let me clarify the potential issue and where we are for my own sake :
This isn’t a download software problem – it’s a flash/instant play casino problem. So, all download links for Mainstreet and CWC are working fine.
Both CWC and Mainstreet have also looked into the tracking for their no-download casino and are saying ‘instant play players are tracking too’.
So, what properties is the issue occurring at?
June 29, 2009 at 11:54 am #801402AnonymousInactiveI dopnt want to name names as I have been getting some great feedback. Thanks again for all the extra testing done as well!
