August 18, 2005 at 12:07 pm #671135AnonymousInactiveDear Krystall2 and Waz,
We regret that you received mail today you believe to be unsolicited.
Have you unsubscribed from the casino previously?
Please let me know what happened when you tried to unsubscribe from this mail. Please can you send us a copy of the email you received so that we can investigate this.
Thank you!
August 18, 2005 at 12:57 pm #671138vladcizsolMemberGee I hope the sites dont get taken down again by the registrar.
Tami cant you guys put those “affiliates” or “marketers” out of the program so that all of us dont have to suffer multiple days down?
Its got to be more cost effective over the long run to get rid of the spammers then keep them around for the short term sign ups they bring in.
August 18, 2005 at 2:54 pm #671148AnonymousInactiveI don’t mean to give you any grief while you are working on making things right in general, but I think this is a problem that affects all of us, and like the Professor said, this can’t be good for Fortune.
I don’t think I have ever played at any Fortune casino and I get these mails daily – many days more than one.
Some other online casino must have sold my name to this spammer. I am not all that upset by spam – I have one address where I let casino spam in on purpose to watch the market. I have other adresses completely spam proof. But – this practise does make some people really angry, they will report you again, and there will be more downtime.
One has to wonder if it is worth it.
August 18, 2005 at 3:45 pm #671154AnonymousInactiveMe three, and as always a copy was forwarded to David, and as always it comes from the same place.
I would STRONGLY suggest you simply blacklist all affiliates who use klhsvr.com as their mailserver.
August 18, 2005 at 8:28 pm #671178AnonymousInactiveI’m still getting spam from the same affiliate everyday.
August 21, 2005 at 12:43 am #671335AnonymousInactiveYou aren’t alone…I get 2 or 3 a day, all for Royal Vegas, and all from the same sender. I unsubcribed, I sent the addy that it comes from into FL, and received a reply that they would make sure my name was removed from the list…..so who is sending these mails if Fl can remove my name, and thats the only action? Just doesn’t make sense to me!
August 21, 2005 at 1:07 am #671338AnonymousInactiveIt’s getting worse. I am getting more and more of these.
August 21, 2005 at 6:34 pm #671369AnonymousInactivelol…I got 2 more today for Royal Vegas and 2 for 7Sultans…..all from the same addy ….the same one I was “removed” from, and I unsubscribed….lol
August 30, 2005 at 2:56 pm #672001AnonymousInactiveI just got spammed from Royal Vegas and here is the link http://www.royalvegas.onlinegames101.com/freespin/default.asp?btag=ad_118485
This thread started on the 17th and now it is the 30th, 2 weeks of spamming and look how many different complaints. Does anybody have the email address FA set up to send these spams to. I doubt it will do any good but I will give them an opportunity to step up to the plate and do what is right.
FA just in case you are not sure “what is right” give the aff one warning and on the second occurance close the account and freeze all funds.
A generous effort might be to send those funds to the Red Cross so they can helps out the people caught in Katrina, be nice to see some good come from all these scummy spammers.
Brian
August 30, 2005 at 5:22 pm #672016AnonymousInactiveI forwarded some of these mailers to FA ([email protected]) with the email addresses that the affiliate needs to remove. I also tried the new unsubscribe link FA had this spammer put in some of his mailers. I am still getting spam from the same affiliate everyday :madat:
August 30, 2005 at 7:59 pm #672024AnonymousInactiveI get little Fortune spam anymore – it’s slowly drying out.
But the same spammer is still spamming heavily – other places now.
Oops – I spoke too soon. Even as I wrote this came in:

If you would like to not recive future emails, please Click here, or you can send a blank email to: [email protected]September 23, 2005 at 3:29 am #673245AnonymousInactivePlease do not tell me that your solution for this problem is to tell the affiliate to unsubscribe my email address. That is NOT a solution that I will settle for from someone who is well known as a spammer.
Either take the strong actions that you promised to take, or take the risk that other problems will occur when I resume forwarding spam email to spam filtering agencies. Either way I am sick and tired of getting spammed and I plan to do something about it.
I recognize that you are not the spammer, and that you do not have very much control over the affiliate’s actions – but you continue to allow him to spam your operations.
October 3, 2005 at 11:59 pm #673743AnonymousInactivePerhaps you should post an address here that you use. I am blocking all Fortune Lounge mail now because it just way to much! If you post the one you will use for the affiliates I will make sure I don’t block that ady.
Thanks,
Joe
