Hi Tom,
Can you please take a look at this thread and take appropriate action against the affiliate that has stolen my content? Renee from Rewards has closed his account, but those aren’t the only brands he promotes — he promotes your casinos, too.
aff tag = wgs16401
I don’t appreciate it when other affiliates attempt to profit from content that I created. 🙁
Thanks in advance,
Dave

I’ve taken a look at the site in question and I can’t see any similarities between your site and affiliate wgs16401.
Can you please clarify?
Thanks

The affiliate has apparently changed the content this morning, after having his account closed by two other affiliate programs.
I didn’t take a screenshot of the page (I should have), but I can assure you that this affiliate did in fact steal the content that I linked to above. Renee from Rewards and Kamiel from Grand Prive both saw the stolen content, and they both closed his account as a result.
Thanks,
Dave
April 27, 2008 at 12:16 am #766660kmslogicMemberI am the owner of http://www.pokieslots.com and have purchased this site and content, and one thread out of the over 40 showed similarities to your site and I have modified accordingly.
For the record my affiliate accounts have never been “shut down”, I have only been asked to edit one entry and I would appreciate if you would stop slandering my site on these threads, as I have emailed you to address any issues.
Thank-You

Well, I would appreciate it if people wouldn’t steal my content. How about that?
You contacted me on Thursday, 3 days ago — over 3 weeks after I started this thread and the other threads. Why didn’t you respond immediately after I started the threads? You (or the “previous owner,” if there really is one) waited almost a month, and then when you finally post, you accuse me of “slandering” your site? Well Pokie, it isn’t slander (or libel, since everything is in writing) if it’s the truth, now is it. The site deserved to be dragged through the mud publicly, because the owner attempted to profit by using content that didn’t belong to him.

I’m not sure why this is something you need to point out. One is plenty. What do you think, that I should have let this slide because it was “only one” out of 40? Wrong. A single scraped sentence is one thing, but a complete review, from top to bottom, is another thing. And for the record, the review didn’t just “show similarities” — it was an exact copy, including the screenshot.

Kamiel from Grand Prive said that he closed an account in this thread: http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/rogue-grand-prive-affiliate.26071.html?
Renee from Rewards Affiliates said that she closed an account in this thread: http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/pokieslots-com-thief.26009.html?
Perhaps these accounts belonged to the original Pokie.
April 28, 2008 at 12:04 pm #766716kmslogicMemberApologies but I have never been to this site before a few days ago, when someone pointed out all the various posts you have written. I am sorry I didn’t respond sooner, when you raised your original problem but I did action and modify 24 hours upon being directed to your posts.
I have actioned and modified the content on the post, emailed you to apologise. If you have any further issues please email me.
Thanks
