I would like to warn others not to do business with Jason Andrew Martin aka Market Junction.
On 12/11/06 I prepaid $4,000 for 200 articles. To date I have received only 54 articles. Even getting those has been like pulling teeth. He has not replied to emails or private messages in 2 months. I feel I have been ripped off!
I want the rest of my money refunded to me or the remaining articles immediately. If anyone knows how to contact him please direct him to this post so that we can resolve this issue.
Thank you,
Scott

November 29, 2007 at 9:57 am #755209AnonymousInactiveThat really really sucks, I’m sorry that happened to you.. that is super cheap for articles though..
November 29, 2007 at 3:11 pm #755221CAPforumuserMember$20 per article may be cheap but depends on the word count and topics. Maybe it’s a generic topic, easy to write on with little research, then that is a good rate. Personally, I usually get paid .03-.07 per word for more in depth work and .02-.05 for generic work.

Ditto – I was ripped off doing business through CAP once, for much less money, not a nice feeling at all
November 30, 2007 at 7:37 pm #755311supervinceMemberSorry to hear that you got ripped off but why would you give someone you don’t know that much money in advance? Thats just dumb.
December 8, 2007 at 7:39 pm #755998AnonymousInactiveThanks to everyone for your concern.
I have finally been contacted by Jason, who has promised to deliver the rest of the content. He was gone for a few months and is back!
I hope this means my fears were unfounded and this issue is resolved!
Thank you and Happy Holidays!

December 8, 2007 at 8:31 pm #756000MikeyMemberI wouldn’t be that happy yet magician, I had transacted with MarketJunction before, same case as you he failed to deliver the contents. After repeated emails and PMs he finally answered and promised to deliver, but that was since April 2006 and I have yet to receive my articles. I basically gave up as my amount was small. Best of luck to you though!
December 9, 2007 at 11:53 am #756025AnonymousInactiveOuch.. I forgive all of you now that PM me everyday after ordering 50+ articles asking for progress reports, and I promise not to grumble under my breath ever again.
Did you get any of articles? I’ve seen MJ around a lot, both here and at DP.. either people are staying much to quiet about rippoffs.. (2006? Did you post a thread.. you really should have – glad to hear it wasn’t lots of money though) Or if you did get some of your articles, then I’m going to guess 400 articles was a tall order for one writer, that would take my whole team a lil chunk of time.. he may have had decent intentions the biggest goals, , and then just gotten seriously overwhelmed..
I’m not making excuses for MJ, or defending him at all, I barely know him, just trying to be a lil reassuring while i wish you your articles, or your refund..
Just out of curiosity.. did you pay via paypal? You can start a dispute if you don’t get them..
December 31, 2007 at 4:21 am #757670AnonymousInactiveI am happy to report Jason has begun delivering the balance of my articles that I ordered.
I hope that this goes well!
Thanks to everyone here at CAP! I wish you all a Happy New Year!

September 13, 2010 at 2:16 am #812133AnonymousInactiveAfter more than 2 years I would like to report that I was ripped off and lied to! Never received the articles, or refund, or even contacted!
Let this be a warning to others!
September 13, 2010 at 7:31 am #812138psmoneyMemberI believed MJ’s earlier promises to repay were just for the sake of buying time to prevent you from PP buyer protection, if you paid via Paypal…
However you should never pay full money up-front for 200 articles unless you have worked before with the provider….any ways very unfortunate.

September 16, 2010 at 1:22 am #812198AnonymousInactiveI did pay with Paypal, and I made a big mistake in not acting on this in time!
I have learned a very expensive lesson! Now just trying to warn others!
