It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes as I write this to say goodby to a true friend. We shared the ailment (diabetes) and were always teasing each other into “eating properly” and avoiding the one more beer to lose a couple pounds.
Our times together were good!
In particular when Lou and I finally met in Las Vegas at the Paris Hotel face to face for the first time courtesy of Casino Coins week long expense paid trip for us Top 10 affiliates in the world in 2001. Lou and I were the only Americans there for this “fun on steroids” trip! Will never forget our final dinner in the Eifel Tower our last night in town where we attempted to break C.C. and Connie and Dora couldn’t believe the liqour bill!!
God bless his wife and daughters
Rest in Peace my friend, this last ones for you

Thanks to Lou and his advice, I became successful as affiliate. I am really sad.
This is a big lost to all here. I know a lot of folks here will miss him.
Want to know what he said to me? ” Don’t put all the eggs in one basket”. Simple but efficient. This is the secret to succeed in this business.
My truly condolences to Lou family.
AND THANK YOU PROFESSOR!

January 20, 2011 at 12:41 am #814269AnonymousInactiveI’m sorry for posting in a thread with so many months but I would like to pay my respects.
I’ve been away from the industry and only knew about what happened to the Captain and the Professor from the IGB magazine that was still in my pobox… both their stories, especially the end, are touching.
Without CAP we affiliates would live in a world not so fair, we all know that happened in the past, and hopefully the certification efforts will be a legacy that will continue to help not only us but all future affiliates as well.
