Ok since i did not get to much feedback at another location figured i would check in here.
I have a new site we just built – still infant stages – but its pretty much design wise how i like it personally..www (dot) onlinepokerelite (dot) com
any suggestions on improvements – I know its not so good right now – but just to get a feel how people view it which may help us revise things..

The quality of the text does not match up to the quality of the site, it’s been written with a low informational and emotional quotient and feels like the writer is just trying to fill a space with a word count rather than actually holding an interest in the subject.In my opinion this would result in a site that will attract initial landing from search engines but will convert poorly.
Looks really good. Love how you have broken up the advertising spots.
One thing which does get blurry for me – was pages where you had broken up the brands into different sections eg

I would suggest moving the bonus offer to below the logo, and keep the review text under it. Important stuff first, and associates the bonus closer to the logo.
I would also give it a rating system, out of 5 stars, not use the “Poker Room #1” – even though you have probably listed it from best to worst – a rating system everyone understands just by looking at it.
Also a huge fan on the mouseover effects you have used.
1) Love the CTA’s on those reviews, but you should definitely add more content to most of them.
2) I know that Best Poker Rooms and Top 10 Poker Rooms are nice keywords to target, but it kinda makes no sense to put them in the top navigation from users perspective. I mean shouldn’t the TOP 10 Poker Rooms also qualify for being the best ones?Thanks guys – this is exactly what i needed some other webmasters (and AM – thanks Rak) to share some honest good feedback and I thank you so much.. gonna review these and of course incorporate some of the stuff shared since I absolutely agree.

Your website layout and color combination is awesome. Best use of table and good content but your website is little slow that is not good according to the term of SEO. For reference about more content and information you can open my username in your browser with dot com.

Overall I think your site looks pretty good, the info on it is concise and to the point.
With regard the site’s right hand column I’ll add a “Review” section just below the bonuses. Since players like to read the review (pros and cons) of a poker room before they join.

I like the fact it isnt your standard layout, has good colors, I personally dont like the way the boxes on the right jump to show PLAYNOW.. but hey everything else looks top notch. congrats!

You’ve created a very unique site so please don’t take this negatively, there is something off on the rest of the site and I just can’t figure out what it is. I think TheGooner may be right it may be the text. It may also be the darker colors you use.
I suggest you spend $40 and have it reviewed over at UserTesting.com – Low Cost Usability Testing
You can have 1000 webmasters look at the site but the opinion you really want is from your end users.
societyofslots, the PLAYNOW is AWESOME, he placed multiple calls to action on his homepage without having them all appear at once. The only change I would make here is the font size. It’s a bit to big for my liking.

Hey thanks guys – really feel good about the comments being made so far… I have marked them all down and going to work on all of them cause I feel generally you guys have provided very valuable feedback. These are some great suggestions and please keep them coming – I value all comments good or bad.
Me personally I am very hard on myself when it comes to making a site so yeah I think in my own mind I could do allot better but my creativity has run out atm… I need to take a wee break form it.. haha..
I agree on the play now part – little big could use tweaking – and content is not of high quality as i would of liked. For sure some parts of it I will be editing along the way and adding too – I think over time a good approach to continue working it and revising/editing content along the way.
Time factor is hard atm due to Christmas and the fact I have about 40 other sites and have spent the last 3-4 weeks on this site – so i wanna take a little break and come back fresh maybe next week and continue to tweak this site..
I did in fact want to create something unique never done before and this is a learning experience for me.. haha..
I added a mailer list and social media – edited a few things already..
As soon as i have a major update I will update..but yeah I really really appreciate the feedback on this one as I put allot of heart into this one – i am trying to get away from what i like but rather what others like..hard to find a balance of what the majority likes or thinks will convert well…

This is basically a first draft really – i still feel its in its beginning stages so of course its not to good yet but i am confident it will become a power horse when incorporate your fine ideas!
