What is your reasoning behind your reluctance with 21.com?
well i will keep it short I am trying to stay away from this stuff. Anyway in the past I have seen 21.com on several spam sites. The link was active where as the scraped material was not. Not sure if these sites are still active I have not checked.
These sites were stealing Title, description, and url to gain a better ranking with some major SE’s. Not a really big issue but something to think about.

January 17, 2007 at 8:07 pm #723046AnonymousGuestI guess this is unnecessary but just in case Greek, I personally cannot ever think of a situation where its advantageous to choose anything except revenue share for a casino.
It prevents a situation arising where they don’t want to pay (on any situation not doing with rev share) for any reason: and if its even a half-assed reputable situation: the rev share always blows away the other offers in the long run. Just my opinion.

Not certain how much you know about the owner of 21.com–his name is Gil Alter and he is also the owner of Vertical Traffic, a media company, placing advertising for several large casino operators.
When Gil was preparing to launch 21.com, it was during the same time that all hell was breaking loose with 888. I met with Gil in San Francisco and discussed this and the implications it may have on his launch. Gil was clearly concerned and I do know that he entered into many discussions with 888 regarding this issue. It was at the same time that Lou was also in discussions with 888. Not to take away anything from the solid efforts of Lou and others (which should be applauded), I do believe that Gil’s concerns (and one million investment dollars) helped move talks along.
Gil is definitely a bit naive and green to this industry, but one thing is certain–his heart is in the right place and he is open to constructive input. IMHO, he’s a decent guy that given time and experience, Gil will be an asset as opposed to an opportunist.
As far as the SEO stuff, I’m certain if Gil was made aware of whatever is out there, he’d be responsible to address this. If you want to pass this stuff on to me, I’m happy to get with Gil on it.
January 17, 2007 at 11:43 pm #723078AnonymousInactiveI was contacted by MissM (CAP member) before the purchase of 21.com. I was asked what my beef was with 888. I kept it very simply and said 888 driven software is packed full of malware/adware etc… Could have said a lot more but did not.
I agree greedygirl I highly doubt the owner of 21.com has anything to do with it. But I am assuming,I could be wrong, but whoever does the marketing may not be doing right thing.
I am sure he is everything you are telling me. I will do some poking around to see if there is a real problem. Give me a few days I will PM with the results. I would post it here but do not want to violate the private forum rules.
Thank You greedygirl

January 17, 2007 at 11:57 pm #723083AnonymousInactiveThanks Greedygirl for your insight into the owner of Get21, I respect your thoughts on these types of matters and I will look into this more and think about promoting them.
January 18, 2007 at 1:43 am #723104AnonymousInactiveGreedygirl I am please to say I find no bad results. The sites I had on record are no longer in service. Perhaps I should have checked before making these accusations. I am truely sorry for jumping the gun. I have been putting my foot in my ass quite as bit lately.
This is good news 21.com I will be supporting on rev share of course. Again my apologies and please forgive me if I offended yourself or others.
Thanks

Are you sure you weren’t confusing get21.com with 21.com? I have seen a lot of spam for get21.com, including many in my own forums. I even contacted Malci and then realized that it was NOT 21.com Felt a little stupid, but I WAS easily confused with the similar names which came out near the same time.
January 18, 2007 at 2:12 pm #723187AnonymousInactiveHey kwblue could be possible. I had posted the links on CAP somewhere and logged the sites. Remeber when we are all being attacked by those info subdomians? This is the time period I started recording them. I kept some in a word document. But know I find all those links are DNS. I could possible track some down to see if it was get21.com. If not I greedygirl would appreciate knowing.
I ran a quick search last night and found nothing. But i did find lots of 888 stuff.
