Leo Vegas is continuously evaluating different regulated markets and we’re now in the final stages of applying for a license in the UK. An important step for the compliance of this license is to close all IP addresses from France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Denmark. For those with existing players in these regions, players will have until the end of the month to withdraw their funds before their accounts are closed. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Kind Regards,
LeoVegas.
July 26, 2014 at 5:43 am #836236smcdowellMemberHi, is it worth to block these countries? I mean UK could produce that much of profit how much these countries could generate for you?
July 28, 2014 at 8:26 am #836250De5WVbzhq4MemberHi Pocket9,
Blocking these countries may be worthwhile at this point, until the market opens up in the future. This year will see LeoVegas launching various campaigns across the UK market. We believe the UK market has huge potential and will work well with a product like ours on offer, so keep an eye out!

July 28, 2014 at 10:25 am #836251misswiggMemberIt’s illegal for them and other casinos to accept players from these countries without special licenses pocket9
July 28, 2014 at 10:30 am #836252smcdowellMemberYeah, but we all know there are hundreds of casinos who still accept players from this countries. This is why I asked Leo about how profitable will be this move. I know its better for all if they do everything legally under a licence, but wouldnt be better if they were waiting for that moment when they get blocked?

I can’t think of any reputable casinos that still do except RTG, definitely no Net Ent
July 29, 2014 at 7:39 am #836256smcdowellMemberHi,
I was talking about a “case” not about a single provider or casino.
July 29, 2014 at 3:10 pm #836257De5WVbzhq4MemberHi,
LeoVegas are doing everything legally as we are looking to get a licence within the UK. Due to this, players from these restricted regions will not be able to register or play at our casino.
