MemberGuys I am sure many of you have already received this notice from Referback, I am concerned that others will be following suit also.:
Quote:Due to all the recent payment mechanisms pulling out of the US – Referback will not be able to make your payment via NETeller or ACH (Direct Bank Transfer to US accounts) any longer. We want to make sure you receive your future payments and this is what we can offer you:
1) Click2pay – only if you have an existing account with click2pay, please send me the following information:
Click2pay registered email address
Click2pay PAN numberPlease note – as of yesterday – click2pay do not accept new accounts from US citizens anymore.
2) EZIPay (previously known as PaySpark) – if you have an existing account with PaySpark, please send me the following information:
Account number
Your 16 digit card number3) Check: This is a high risk option and we strongly urge you to choose another method to avoid future problems accessing your commissions. What’s the risk for you:
The check writer could pull out without notice, thereby delaying their payment
The checks could be cancelled without warning to avoid detection
The checks could be confiscated by the authorities/bank
A cheque could get lost in the mailand now Casino Partners sends:
Quote:Due to recent developments, Casino Partners will be issuing all payment in Canadian
Dollars, British Pounds Sterling, Euros, or Australian Dollars only. Payments will
not be made to US accounts or to US mailing addresses.January 24, 2007 at 6:53 pm #724229Anonymous

Why would a check writer pull out? Why would a check writer want to avoid detection? Since I’m not doing anything illegal, I’d be a little bothered if my bank conficated a check. Last time I checked, I pay them to cash them, not confiscate them. Lost in the mail?? Yeah, every once in awhile, but seriously, it rarely happens.
I’ll ask again. What’s the risk for them??
How many times have we been told that goofy terms are in our best interest when they obviously are not?
I know that nobody would like to “out” themselves with their real concerns, but sheesh. Don’t act like cheques getting lost is a big risk to anyone. They should just say that they don’t want to do it. I’m wading through enough BS as it is.

InactiveIt fucking sucks! I seen a post at Casino Meister this morning that EZIPay is not going to allow US gambling transactions. It looks like checks are the only option for US affiliates for this months payments and I think a very risky one. I am glad I sold most of my sites and original affiliates accounts when I did now. I think it is the end for US affiliates and probally several online casinos in the future. Unless your willing to leave the US for good I think it’s best to move on to other industries at this point. I think those that are trying to hang in there are just wishfull thinking and I can understand that. Sometimes you just got to move on in life as I have had to learn the very hard way these past two years. As a procautionary move I have pull all links on my few remaining sites just in case. Who knows for sure where this all is leading? Good luck all my great friends here at CAP.

InactiveCould be right Captain! Even stranger being from Canada I tried depositing using payspark it was rejected. I have a pending withdrawal currently to payspark I should find out today if it goes through. Last month’s commission arrived fine via RB into my account. I wonder if it will in February if not then even Canadian’s may be affected.
Most of these transactions must hit a U.S bank first then sent off to Canada. Maybe this could be the problem.

InactiveAll transactions went perfectly fine using EziPay. I was able to deposit and with withdrawal to and from a online casino. But i am from Canada and ealier in January this was not possible. To sum it up it appears the Canadian webmasters are not affected. For the U.S webmasters I am not sure, but there are plenty of ways to get around this.
Time will tell Ezipay has made the full transition from payspark to Ezipay.

InactiveHi Professor,
Yes, this is terrible news for us all. It must be a sad time in London for all. I had heard a few months back that Microgaming might pull completely out of the US market this year. -
