Inactiveive just spoken to my manager at referback – according to him there is absolutely nothing unusual about the stats in december/january.
the stats however contradict his statements – this months numbers still look miserable, at least here

InactiveI don’t have many pages left out there, but with limited exposure here are my stats from December and then so far this month. As compared to some of my past months, I think that my stats are not bad at all and I didn’t suspect anything out of the ordinary. Also, my revenue was way up in December. Some of the traffic early in December was a PPC campaign, which was pretty crappy traffic.
December
233 visits 40 downloads 12 opens 3 new players
January
81 visits 13 downloads 4 opens 1 new player

InactiveMy stats always looked that horrible or worse from day one hence why I never gave them much exposure… and quickly removed them.

GuestHi all,
well as you probably know, I’d made a post in general forum about missing signups. I had the same person, well him and his wife, contacted me telling me he’d signed up at 2 of the RB casinos.
here is Wayne’s reply on the situation. Not too thrilled with the explanation … though that’d be different if they performed even within 50% of the next program seeing as much exposure:
Hi Steve,
The account above was allocated at sign up. The other account was signed up directly via the web site and not via your banners or links. As you have referred this player the account Trbr12959xxx has been allocated to your affiliate account.
Thanks for your patience Steve. Will I see you at the CAP Euro event?
Cheers,
Wayneno explanation about the sign up directly the website but I highly doubt that was the case. This guy once had me send him over $300 because allslots wasn’t paying him quick enough. Now I ask you: would you signup from anybody else’s site when someone was that generous to you?
I’m not saying its a intentional situation brought on by RB, but I am wondering if the new tracking codes involving the pipe lines is accurate?
In any case, they seem to underperform even when compared to other programs I have that I consider underperformers.
right now I’m too busy frankly to chase down all their links, and therefore they’ll be recieving extra time to pull themselves from the bottom of the performers ranks but this also means i’ll be much more severe if/when the time comes I do get around to changing my sites.
I know they have long been suspect to many veterans and perhaps I’ve been doing myself a big dis-service for carrying them so long. Of course you may remember seeing my posts about the last time I removed them from my sites. they really performed then and eventually won their way back on my listings. This is so far out of a logical expectations for a program that I still am confused. That said, enough time has now passed where they again have been so consistent in underperforming that I now am faced with removing them once again.
I’d like very much to not have to take them down. its a pain in the ass and there’s no reason they should be underperforming.
before i leave this post I have one question. I recall they had merged with Fortune …… who has always been a disappointment and a group I am serious about having nothing to do with.
can anyone comment on if/whether they are associated with Fortune and ifso; in what respect?
thanks in advance for your reply.

InactiveThe deal between Fortune and Referback fell through.
It never happened and what leaked through was premature speculation. They did consider it at one point. No meeting of the minds there.
My mystery with low referback signups this month has likely been solved – I was heavily pushing an expired offer. Makes me mad when that happens, but isn’t their fault, it’s mine.

MemberI am STILL sitting at 0 new depositors for the month with Referback despite getting sign ups with every other program I work. Its completely unbelievable that there isnt something wrong there. Very wrong.

InactiveI have all of 2… but am changing promo today and see what the rest of the month gives. Then they likely will have to give the spot up to a better producer if it doesn’t improve.

You have a total of 1 Belle Rock Entertainment casino customer(s).how did you gain access to my stats lol.
seriously, just about exactly my situation and as such, rather disappointing though this is not the first month as such.
if you’ve ever read my posts about RB, you know I’ve had good reason to give them the benefit of doubt but in the same breath: almost as much time of disappointment has passed as did the time when they were so outstanding and weren’t enjoying exposure.
Very confusing and disturbing situation because of the fact of the equation I have experienced with them.
Frankly I just plain don’t know what to think of them.

You have a total of 16 Belle Rock Entertainment casino customer(s).If I deduct the 1200 or so visitors I shot into cyber space with the expired promo, that’s some 756 visitors for 16 new depositors.
That’s about normal for me. Could look a lot better if I had been on the ball and changed the promo on time.
