Has anyone else noticed the disturbing trend for some affiliates and sportsbooks increasing their min. payout amounts?
February 10, 2007 at 12:36 am #726735affiliategodMemberYes john. The biggest joke was a Bingo site I got an email from about a week ago. Don’t remember which one. It was one I don’t promote anymore as it didn’t convert at all. I also deleted the email.
In the email, they stated that their min. payment was $50 for Neteller, Click2Pay, etc. and for US affiliates, they could only send wire transfer and the min. payment for that was…..this actually gave me a laugh…….$1500. Slight difference in the payout amounts, huh?!:flamer:
February 10, 2007 at 1:15 am #726738AnonymousInactiveYep, Bodog is now $500 even for Neteller and Moneybookers payments to non-US affiliates. Even if it’s short-term as the email states it is still bullshit.
February 10, 2007 at 3:03 am #726747AnonymousInactiveJust an excuse to hold on to our money. I can’t believe it is ok for them to write a check for $1500 but not ok to write one for $1499.
February 10, 2007 at 9:10 am #726751AnonymousInactiveDear Affiliate,
The recent position of the United States government regarding online gaming has had a serious impact on payment processing companies and their relationship with clients who send payments into that country. As a result, Citadel and NETeller can no longer be used as a means of payment in the United States.
This situation has had a serious impact on our ability to quickly supply funds to our affiliates. Because of the our commitment to offering our affiliates the best service possible, CasinoBlasters.com has been forced to find other means of providing commissions.
From this point forward, all affiliates will be paid by Bank Wire or check.
The currency that commissions will be paid by Bank Wire in is limited to British Pounds (Pound Sterling) or Euro depending on the location of the affiliate. Affiliates residing in a region where the Euro is NOT the common currency will have their Bank Wire commission paid in British Pound Sterling; affiliates residing in a region where the Euro is the common currency will receive their Bank Wire commission in Euro.
For example, if you are an affiliate living in Japan you will receive your Bank Wire commission in British Pound Sterling; if you live in Germany or Italy you will receive your commission in Euro.
If you live in the United States you will receive your commission by Check ONLY. Checks will be paid in US Dollars.
Thank you for your understanding,
The Casino Blasters Team
So the part in red and neteller for all non US affiliates is not the best service?
What a load of crap, they are coming of my sites asap (today)February 10, 2007 at 5:00 pm #726774AnonymousInactiveSeems to me they are probably avoiding NeTeller altogether because of their turning over records to the US Government. Who knows if all of those records are for US webmaster/players and that non-US may not be in there.
I think that in their place, I would support the CYA program, also.

TO receive payment by bank wire please send :
Bank Wire – Swift Code, Routing #, Name & Address of Bank, Name & Address of Account Holder, Account #. ($10,000 minimum, individual banks may charge fees).
February 10, 2007 at 7:31 pm #726782AnonymousInactiveThat high minimum will immediately be reported by the banks to the gov.
February 10, 2007 at 11:12 pm #726795AnonymousInactiveWow, I didn’t notice the $10000 limit for US affiliates, only the $1000 for non-US which is thought was unreasonable.
Whilst I don’t have a problem with avoiding Neteller, there are other viable ewallets for non-US like Moneybookers and unfortunately the $500 is for that method as well. Now I haven’t been a fan of Party Partners for a while now, but you have to give them credit for the number of payment methods they were able to offer. If programs hadn’t put most of their eggs in the Neteller basket then perhaps we wouldn’t be experiencing the payment problems and it would be as simple as just choosing another method in our account profiles and then getting on with business.

Nothing like putting a gigantic red flag for the DOJ! Sounds to me like they are trying to drive US affiliates away. I can’t see any other reason to put that high of a minimum. They know anything over $4999 will be reported.
