MemberGuys I just got off the phone with a Microgaming Operator and there is some REALLY BAD News about to be posted regarding commissions. This is due to a concern the casinos have about massive chargebacks emanating from the US due to the legislation. This news will be a real bridge jumper. Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement.:Ohno: :Ohno: :Ohno:

InactiveLou can you please post what you know.

MemberI cant. The person I spoke too was adamant about that and I gave them my word that I wouldn’t say anything until they posted. They told me they would be posting details publically today.
I probably shouldnt have even posted this thread, but I figured it was in private so I would chance it so that you guys would know to DEFINATELY keep an eye open on the forums today.

InactiveSome family oriented government.
Well, I never went with wagershare because I didn’t like some of the predatory terms in their T&Cs. Until I talked to Tim at the bodog non-conference.
In those few months I have built up a huge player base there.
What really irks me too, is that they won’t mail our players for us. I bet they are selling them right out from under us.
Sucked me in and spat me out.

MemberSerious banking issues looming. SERIOUS ones…. From NON US Banks no less!
Seems the US treasury has been very busy any foreign owned banks which have branchs in the US are effected and are already notifying their account holders that immediate actions must be taken or their accounts will be closed!
Additional news from Neteller is being threatend as well due to this new pressure.
I received this info directly from the owner/operator of a casino who read me the actual letter he received.
NOTE: THIS IS POSTED IN THE PRIVATE AREAS AND IS NOT TO BE DISCUSSED OR EVEN HINTED AT ELSEWHERE.

Yes and I am furious about this. I am owed over $8000 by WagerShare for September, now this means I will be drip fed my earnings over 6 months.
It would be really prudent for programs to remember some of us, me included are in this for the long haul. Never trust a dog that bites you is my motto. In the case of Wagershare, they have just bitten me.

MemberYeah it was a stake through the heart for me too as I had a relatively big month with Wagershare in September and had budgeted myself in October accordingly.
Suddenly I find my budget has taken a $7500 shortfall due to this decision.
I am not sure if Tim made this clear, but payments will be at least 10 days late also as they will be snail mailing us checks rather then use Neteller. They believe Neteller will begin freezing accounts next week and didnt want to create a logistical nightmare for themselves with sorting out who actually got their payments and who didnt etc…
So payday is late and short!
REMEMBER this is in a private area do not discuss this outside of here. Though I would say its ok to “ask” if payments will be received on their usual time schedule. Please dont mention the Neteller prediction.

InactiveLou,
I have been on the phone with Tom yesterday and also this morning. He made no mention of payment by cheques for this month. Does this only concern US Based affiliates. Meaning those outside the US should still receive their reduced payments through neteller as per normal?
October 11, 2006 at 11:57 am #711179vladcizsol
MemberI have no idea, but I would imagine the concern of non us citizens having their accounts closed would not be as high, so you may receive your payment on its normal schedule.
I would ask Tom directly if you will be receiving your commission on its normal date or is there the possibility of a delay. Please do so without mentioning this post and please let us know what he says.

InactiveTom told me he expects payments to be made w/c 22nd Oct.
He didnt mention anything about a change in method of payment. I guess it probably will only affect US Based Affiliates.
Also for the private forums only. I know for a fact 32Red will be pulling out of the US Market once this bill is signed into law. I have also heard Neteller will stop providing payment services for US Gamblers – This is pretty much already agreed upon.
