I am putting this in the private forums for now, until I get a response from Ryan but thought you all should know about this.

If you advertise for InterCasino Poker, then you may of been told you can offer a password to your poker players for a $1,000 freeroll, which is what happened in this case.
Ryan emailed me saying we could give out the password to this freeroll and that only selected affiliates would be allowed the password, as it turned out less than 300 showed up and over 100 were our poker forum members. I got tons of signups doing this :)

Now the sad part, several of our members placed in the money, a few only got $5 and one member posted on our forum this:

I enjoyed the game we had at Interpoker Friday night! I believe I placed 27th for $5.00. The money never showed up in my account. So I emailed support and never got a response. I now just got done talking with live help. She told me $5. was not enough to play in any of their games. So they are not going to put it in my account unless I make a deposit. Iasked where is this rule posted? She replied, “What Rule”. What a crock! Needless to say, my days at Interpoker are over!

So now, this has all backfired on me, all the members that downloaded this room are now uninstalling it and pissed off, me as well. I emailed Ryan asking him how in the world they can run a freeroll for affiliated sites then not pay the players….still waiting to hear, but thought the poker webmasters here should know about this, it’s disgusting really.

    That is disgusting.

Please make sure you keep us updated. I sure hope it’s a communication problem somewhere along the line.

    Hi Ellen,

I am glad to of noticed this post because I too can testify to the embarissing results of the disorganized and poorly communicated details that were used from Partnerlogic. I had the misfortune of reading on the website in the affiliate section that the first tournament would be August 7 2004, which if you you noticed was a Saturday…though the creatives said that these would be Friday night events.

Confused and not thinking anything of it – it wasn’t until either late friday or Saturday I had an email to remind me and I started advertising on my forum to email me fo rthe passwords……(I had no idea the tournament already took place)……I saw on their website a “Special $3,000 Freeroll” and figured that was it until later in the day when the registration was already done and filled and no password was required I looked like a dork for advertising and going through the trouble of getting eveyrone the password for an event that apparently did happen (i just found that out) since their live support wouldn’t come to the chatroom and I have yet to recieve any responses to my emails :(

Let me know what you hear!

I wanted to participate in the next one myself as well as this new $3,000 Saturday freeroll…..I love the fact they have liek 500-1000 max registrations for the $3,000 freeroll….Saves the hassle of dealing with the idiots like at Prima where there is 3000 all in lovers lol

Got an answer from them a few weeks ago and forgot to post it here:

The $5 is actually in the player’s account, but the minimun buy in is $10. They will need to deposit an additional $5 in order to play. We don’t allow players to withdraw until they deposit as an age verification tool. Otherwise players will be able to join free rolls and play and withdraw and be under 18. Depositing is a way to make sure they are over 18.

When I asked where it states these terms I never got an answer. They’ll be our next pulled room, cleaning house lately!
