I have a gentleman inquiring about membership…
The issue is, he has no portal, per say…
He has a Gambling Federation Template casino and plans to make a portal in the very near future.
My first thought is that he would be no different that any other “non-reporting” member, in that his only stats come from GF right now. Even though he appears to be a casino to an industry lay person, we all now that the “casino” he runs is more of a splash page that anything…
Thoughts & feedback?

Do we really want to implement all kinds of restrictions?
I for one respect everyone’s decision to do business the way they see fit.

But as we all know, in this industry it’s all about “appearances”. So to some, it will look like a casino joined as a webmaster.
Given, anyone who thinks that knows NOTHING of this industry and their opinion probably wouldn’t carry much weight…

Actually, yes…
We don’t want white label casinos as “casino members” do we?
And we don’t want portals run by a casino group as “webmaster members” do we?

True.
But Gaming Fed is just a front and a version of how to be an affiliate.
I think the line is drawn by who has back office access and who does not.
At least that’s the way the law would look at it.
February 11, 2004 at 6:51 pm #644683AnonymousInactiveI look at it the same.
I suppose I’m trying to be too “above table” with APCW… after seeing the totalitarian way some of the other “associations” were run…
