Hey all,
Couldn’t figure out what would be the best place to ask this question. And I’m an eternal newbie anyway so this section suits me well.

Have any of you ever had any success buying shares of an established website? I don’t even know if anyone actually sells shares, but I thought it would be a nice diversification. I know some people need money to bring their website to another level.

Then again, I don’t want to throw money out the window either, so I was wondering if anyone has done that and seen any good results.

i’ve seen one guy selling shares of his “poker room” which was more like a plain website using downloadable software from another poker room. although he did raise some capital, he never made any money and the venture never got anywhere.

I have never seen anyone selling shares, I wish I was :hattip:

i do a few 50/50 joint ventures with people around the world that seem to work out for us both, sort of franchise one of my sites for want of a better description
