I’ve noticed a big drop percentage wise. It used to be nearly 40% but now under 15% for me. What would the reason be? The figures don’t even include the fact that some of them won’t count as new active players now.
Can some of you look at your old archive reports and state the percentage of opened REAL accounts that purchased during pre-August and compare it to the new stats from August this year.
I also noticed a LOT of closed accounts in the last few months whereas there were virtually none reported before!
October 24, 2005 at 10:19 am #674938AnonymousInactiveI think I know what the problem is now. I just tested it and it opens both real and guest accounts for you when you register during the download process. I think it used to open either one or the other depending on what you choose to do.
October 24, 2005 at 3:17 pm #674958AnonymousInactiveI have closed accounts too – I rarely EVER have a closed account anyplace.
October 24, 2005 at 6:30 pm #674972AnonymousInactive:bullshit: .. Players DO NOT close accounts!
Is ReferBack closing accounts of players who have not played in “X” number of days?
S-o-o-o … Does that mean that if the player returns through someone else’s link they will now become a player under that affiiate’s account?
Or … If ReferBack e-mails these players repeatedly and the player returns at some point, do they now become a player under NO affiliate, and conveniently become a player of ReferBack … (with no commissions due to anyone)?
:Pisser: These places are getting greedy and pulling too much Vegas-style crap!
Next thing you know they will revoke your affiliate status because you have gained more than 10 pounds since they approved you as an affiliate. .. :banger:
October 24, 2005 at 7:28 pm #674981AnonymousInactiveNot sure exactly when this happened but, I just noticed today on the affiliate page (stats etc.) there is a ticker saying Referback has been sold! Then when checking my stats my % jumped 5% without qualifying for the next level up! This happen to anyone else? Again, maybe I missed it but I see no threads on this in the Industry Heading. No e-mail notification, nothin’.
What’s up?:terms: ???October 27, 2005 at 6:36 am #675151AnonymousInactiveHi All,
I just wanted to clarify that player accounts are closed based on their history or risk they pose. It is correct that players rarely close their accounts. All partners eventually refer player(s) that charge back, or are bonus abusers. These players are banned from all the casinos that share the database for this kind of activity.
Cheers,
