Guys its fine to kick the crap out of Referback up in the public forums, but keep it professional and on topic so those whiners dont come back and claim affiliates are just rude and deserve the horse shit they are trying to shovel on us.
Lets maintain the moral high ground on this issue. We are right and people will back us up as long as we dont come off as an angry mob of unwashed peasants attacking the castle.

it really is quite possible that what they sat down and talked out; came out on text in a much different light than what RB was seeking.
While I agree that they’ve really heaped it on in the rediculous terms category; nothing will be gained to just call them names.
I urge everyone to not just sound off about taking down their links because that’s possibly what they are wanting to happen.
Instead focus on pointing out to them that you WILL take the time to name their casinos; each one; in a section warning players to avoid or stop playing there. Trust me; this will be felt and quickly.
Now having said that; I don’t suggest anyone run out and do anything like that just yet. I am merely thinking a couple of jumps down the line as to what is in our best interest. And if this is allowed to squeak past affs – they’ll dictate how things go the rest of the way and trust me; if history is proof; it won’t be good for affs.
Surely! surely those in charge have the forsight to do some hard thinking about how the repercussions of the last change in terms hurt RB; and trust me that’s nothing compared to what its going to be like this time around.
I will personally do all I can to organize and keep current the issue of not just taking down links; but I will be asking affs to aggressively campaign for players to avoid or stop playing at their properties.
Those with little to lose; should be the most vocal since you’ve still the chance to change the minds of the owners of the programs where you DO make money, by stepping up and saying that even though you don’t promote these casinos; that you will out of simple self-preservation list their casinos in a warning section made easily accessible.
don’t wait for this BS to come to your favorite sponsor; speak up now. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve ever made them money, if they know that there will be a concerted effort by many affs to show a flex of muscle in the way of warnings; trust me if they’ve a brain in their heads, they are going to take a look at history and if you look back, nearly every casino that ever went out of biz – did so AFTER having earned a bad reputation with portal owners.
But please speak up in a manner that shows intent, not just throwing insults.
I have spoken to them on the phone and so have a few others that I know and they are not budging on the first deposit issue. told them then there is no point in carrying on discussions. One of those that phoned them as well (Do not want to mention names) actually go offered a personalised deal in regards to the T&C’s if they would carry on promoting referback… thankfully the person in question has enough integrity and told them what they can do with the offer.
As of 5 minutes ago all referback casinos are off our sites and they have been informed of this.
Yeah they have been calling everyone attempting spin control and offering deals. The general theme is “Dont pay attention to what the new terms and conditions SAY, we dont mean it”
What a load of crap.
Calling and privately offering deals is even more sinister than the actual act of changing the terms! I hope people don’t cave when faced with such an offer :flush:

By now I am sure that you have perused the new Terms and Conditions.
On hindsight we realize that T&Cs are a very poor communicator!
Our communication was incomplete, as by not bringing to your attention the motivation and expected outcome of the new conditions, many people have misunderstood the changes, creating unnecessary distress to a lot of affiliates. Please accept my apologies for that.
After chatting to many affiliates, we have had positive reaction and excitement regarding the changes and new models.
There are a few concerns that came to light and I would like to clarify:
Changes are not retroactive: They are only effective from the 1st August 2005
Referback is healthy and growing, not closing down
Revenue share is here to stay
There is enough variety on our deals to make everyone happy from Rev Share to CPA
Affiliates are an indispensable and respected force on Belle Rock’s marketing mix
