HOLY COW!!! This is huge news!
How will affiliates fare through all of this? Will players tagged to me at CPS be mapped over to Rewards, like they were when Rewards took in the Integrity casinos and one of the Adriches casinos?

imho, you’re better off promoting another MG group like Brightshare, CR’s wager model doesn’t pay, seems to average about 8%-10% per deposit if that. I earn much more from a handful of players at Brighshare vs. over 200 at CR and I give CR the most exposure. However, overall the RTG’s outperform all the MG groups.
March 21, 2008 at 12:11 pm #763828AnonymousInactiveNice one!
I’m so pleased to hear that Rewards are picking up this great group of casinos
Will you be also getting the CPS affiliate manager (Jon) too?
I am very pleased to hear that this is happening!!! Woohoo!!!!!!!
Cheers,

I like the idea of wagershare but I make peanuts with it, while I make thousands on rev-share on other casinos. Will there ever be a possiblity CR will have a standard rev-share again say starting at 25%?

Ditto that question
March 21, 2008 at 5:05 pm #763852AnonymousInactiveI’m hoping for a rev-share option, too. Over the years I’ve made far more with rev-share than I have with wager-share.
I’m still extremely happy that my players are going to be mapped over to Rewards, but I am sort of wondering if the revenue will be anywhere near where it was before. I guess I’ll find out in a few months.
March 21, 2008 at 6:27 pm #763866AnonymousInactiveI have to say I prefer the wagershare quite a bit.
I do better with it, what you see is what you get, no negatives, when someone wins big and plays it back you get comission for the time up to the winning, winnings don’t get deducted, and then you get to get comission on it all over again.
I definitely want to stay with it.

maybe that’s why CR can afford to add 6 new casinos while many programs seem to be struggling just to pay affiliates.

Yea it does make you wonder how much there bottom line was increased with wager-share, since it is feverently defended anytime anyone brings it up. 25% starting comission is pretty much industry standard and I really don’t see why it at least can’t be offered, according to CR 35% wager-share would cost them more than 25% rev-share. They should be grateful that we are willing to work for less money, unless of course they make better money on wager-share regardless. Players are gambling this is a losing proposition for them, so having a pay plan that has you hoping they win and continue to play and play should be obvious how you are losing out on a ton of money in the long haul. Getting paid based on what players lose is a much better idea since ultimatley they will lose it all at some point.
March 21, 2008 at 10:30 pm #763883AnonymousInactiveGuys, we have been through this over and over and over.
Whether you make more money on one system or the other depends entirely on the type of player you send.
If you send players who like to spend hours being entertained by playing, player who spend a lot of time, you make good money with this system.
If you have players who like to bet all their money in one bet, you won’t make any money here.
Those are the two ends of the curve and your players may fall on either end or someplace between, and that is what determines whether you make more with this system or with revshare.
How much the player deposits and loses has nothing to do with it, it’s how much s/he plays.
What type of player you send depends on your site, whether it is based on bonuses, whether it provides info for people who play a lot, whether it appeals to younger males or older females, slots players or BJ players and so on.
If you design your site to attract a certain type of player and select programs that suit that particular player best, you will optimize the money you can make. Rewards may or may not be the right program for you.
Apparently there are a lot of affiliates who find that it suits them well, Rewards was voted by us here to be the best casino affiliate program, and Renee as the best manager.
Personally I think it’s great to have this as a choice (obviously my players are well suited to this type program.)
There are a lot of different programs here to choose from, and everyone should find a proper fit for the players that are attracted to their type site.
As you continue to grow your site you may add content that suits a different group of players than you have now, and you may find that programs that do not do well with you one year, outdo all others the next and vice versa.
March 21, 2008 at 10:51 pm #763885LucretiaMemberofcourse earning money is the main goal.
but if players come back to the RA/CR casino’s even after months and keep on playing they kind a like them very much! So I give them the opprtunity to choose RA/CR casino’s, the most reputable casinos on the web.
I will keep them for the long term goal : the player is for life and if he/she is happy for a long time you will be too eventually.Besides that there have been no negative surprises from the affiliate program just positive ones.
What more do you need ?
March 22, 2008 at 12:58 am #763889AnonymousInactiveI don’t think wagershare is a bad earnings model for some people, and I agree some affiliates could make a lot more on it depending on what type of players your site attracts. For me personally I just haven’t made anything on wagershare although I have almost 200 players there. I love CR from a players view and I really would like to send more players there. Although it’s tough to justify sending players there that are only generating a small amount of income. If they are going to be taking over entire casino groups that I am making great money with consistantly I would really appreciate that they do not force me on the wagershare system. Everyone can agree both earnings model work good for some people, so why not offer both?
March 22, 2008 at 6:49 am #763896AnonymousInactivewhat about the aff number, typically the affxxx will we contnue to get earnings from players e have at casino profit share?
a) Will the affxxx tag be tracked for sometime to the existing casino rewards account and
b) when we have changed banners from CPS with affxxx to casino rewards code, will all old players we once had at CPS be credited under casino rewards?
Thanks
