About 1/2 the data centers are updated already
looks like most sites (i looked at many well known casino / poker portals and non gambling related sites) lost pr – likly due to google discounting some links
but as google does it to everyone – it just becomes relative
just thought i would give u guys a heads up
April 28, 2007 at 3:08 am #735140AnonymousInactiveYeah I got a notification tonight that my PR was changed.
I hope these changes don’t stick, I lost PR
There was also a backlink update, I’m not happy with that either. :grunt:
April 28, 2007 at 3:35 am #735141neophyteMembergood luck to one and all.
and remember – the cream always rises to the topApril 28, 2007 at 4:04 am #735143AnonymousInactivethanks for posting that info.
I moved my site to new domain in Jan and its’ been stuck at 0. This morning it was still 0 now it’s 2. Unforunately my retail site dropped from 3 to 2.
Will that effect my retail site on Googles search results, as it comes up 7 for my top keyword?
thanks

yes with an .htaccess file
it was on a free host with a no ad upgrade. The no ad upgrade is going to expire in May or June. All the pages are now in Google
Should I close the no ad account?
thanks
April 28, 2007 at 8:37 am #735149AnonymousInactiveI’m always feeling nervous when Google starts updating PR.
Now my PR is 4 on a half of datacenters, and 5 on anther half. It was 5. And I hope it will stay 5.April 28, 2007 at 12:16 pm #735158AnonymousInactiveaksana wrote:I’m always feeling nervous when Google starts updating PR.

patience! I reckon the update will be over by monday evening.. good luck again…
April 30, 2007 at 4:29 pm #735332biggygMemberDid any gambling websites manage to stay at pr5 or higher? Both my pr5 sites fell to pr4 and i notice CAP is now pr4 as well .
April 30, 2007 at 5:05 pm #735335AnonymousInactiveI guess it depends on which data center you query – According to a SEO forum post I read recently there over 500 and they listed all the IPs.
You can check 72 at once. I see CAP at 5 now according to the page rank checker below. My new site reads 2 at some data centers and still 0 at others. Perhaps the update is not completely finished? My retail site was always 3 bounced to 2 but now is back to 3.
I usually make SEO page adjustments from the Google Webmaster tools query stats. I can see what was searched on and where that page appeared in the Serps.

my pr8 went to pr7 and one of my pr7 went to pr6 , both have 80% of the higher pr in the datacenters but the lower pr is in the toolbar. I hope it is not over
