I know I’ve been writing a lot about Referback lately, but has anyone experienced really poor service from them lately? I know the stats delays have probably distracted them, but it’s really annoying me at the moment, especially seeing that I need something clarified before I willingly spend money on a campaign to send them traffic!
I have written to Wayne on a number of occasions asking for further investigation into my account (which shows 50 downloads, but not a single account – is that odd?), and seem to have been given the runaround. Firstly, he asked me to remind him on a Monday morning to look at my account (don’t they have diaries?). Secondly, I got the canned response about the stats being down. Thirdly, I got non-response. It’s been 3 days since my last mail to Wayne, and no response yet.
I am a newish affiliate, and haven’t made any money yet from Referback, but I’m doing my best to change that. Please take your little fish seriously, Referback! I am on the verge of dropping them for a program with better service (yes, it’s that important to me), but ill wait out a little longer. From what I’ve read and heard, you’ve got a big reputation to uphold. I hope you succeed, but understand that it’s not only how many sportscars you give away (I couldn’t care less about so-and-so winning a sportscar).

As to the support received from ReferBack and myself, I will let other affiliates answer you. The fact is that I have given you an answer to your question in that we are working on the problem. I have no control over how fast that happens. Yes that is unsatisfactory, however there are situations that are beyond our control and we have along with other affiliate programs tried to communicate this to all.
Cheers

“The fact is that I have given you an answer to your question in that we are working on the problem.”
Indeed you have done this, but you said to me on the 6th of September that this wouldn’t take more than 2 days to resolve itself. We mailed each other on the 7th, and you said that should I require any further assistance, I can feel free to contact you. I did this on the 12th of September, when I requested an update on the situation, as I need to begin my new campaign this week. I have still not yet received a response to this e-mail, nor have I heard any feedback on the stats problem as a whole. All I see, when I login, is news about someone winning a car.
So, the fact is that you answered my original question on the 6th of September. The other fact is that you have not yet acknowledged or responded to my e-mail sent to you on the 12th of September.
