has anyone of you guys been treated the way i just have by pokerstars? Just created a thread in the main section:

    http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/anyone-else-ripped-off-by-pokerstars.28070.html?

really really disappointed… you know whats worst? i even asked them to pay me the lowest possible rate for those players that convert after the deal expires (a CPA of $75 which is a joke for the quality the German players deliver) and the answer? well surprise surprise – they got back to me saying i am not going to be paid…

have no idea how to react, i was so stunned they would act that way i have not undertaken any steps so far. any ideas…?

    thanks

I have been away most of the holiday weekend and just came back. What exactly happened?

Did they pay you as initially agreed prior to requesting to renogitiate the price?

Was there an issue with player value?

Did they agree to an extension of four weeks and do you have a record of that via email or messenger log?

This seems odd. Who were you dealing with at PokerStars?

Because its you reporting the problem and you have always been a straight affiliate and businessman I want to dig into this further as there has to be some sort of misunderstanding. Hopefully we can get you some sort of a positive resolution even if it does not enatil continuing to send them players.

Thanks for looking into this, i was really stunned by their behavior – would have never expected anything like this from the like of pokerstars…

To make the long story short – i have agreed a deal with them a few months back. After a while they got back to me saying its not profitable for them and they do not want to continue the deal. I said fine – as for the quality players i deliver i usually have a line of advertisers interested. After the deal expired i was told i would still get paid the agreed deal for another 4 weeks once the deal expired – and this is where the trouble started.

I did get pay for every single player delivered during the deal and during the 4 weeks – but they refused to pay for any player converted after those 4 weeks. I got back saying i surely must be paid at least the basic CPA rate (the $75 listed on their site and available for any new affiliate) since those are new and depositing players. Well imagine my surprise when the person i was dealing with there, Andreas, emails me and says under their T&C i am not going to be paid any single cent more…

I do not know what the issue was with player value – German poker players are of extremely high value and more then one company pays me more then $350 per player. What i was told by stars (it was all via email, so i have the full log) is that the value of my players is $100-$150 and they have actually lost money during this deal…

The whole story is more then just odd – i have been sending them players for more then a year i think and its extremely unlikely that a) player value is that low b) they only managed to discover that after such a long time. Usually if a deal is not profitable for a company they get back to you after a month two or three and want to stop it – since they are obviously not benefiting from it. And neither would i want any of my partners not to be happy with the quality of the players i send them.

Its not about money in this case – last month i had about 10 players with them so in worst case scenario i would have to be paid $750 which hardly is a fortune. Its about the way they have treated me more then anything else…

    Thanks in advance Prof
