Just not sure if you all are ignoring this thread or haven’t seen it. I am totally shocked that they are still not paying commissions on casino games especially since they just added new games.
I was told over a year ago that they only paid commission on the poker and were working on the affil. program to soon pay on all games, well a year later and it’s still the same.I’m taking them down as soon as I have a spare few hours, not a chance in hell they’re getting my good traffic and sending them to casino games. Screw That!
July 14, 2004 at 5:26 am #652139AnonymousGuestIt’s truly unbelievable.
July 14, 2004 at 11:46 am #652153vladcizsolMemberI had no idea as I dont promote them. I will look into this, but on the surface it does sound very unreasonable.
July 15, 2004 at 1:46 am #652209AnonymousGuestits true, I emailed them about it a while back and got a reply stating on no uncertain terms that we don’t get commission on casino games.
bad move as they lost and kind of listing whatsoever in my blackjack and other assorted games pages.
July 15, 2004 at 2:35 am #652211AnonymousInactivehi Lou, thanks for looking into this, I think it’s definitely something of great importance!
July 15, 2004 at 1:10 pm #652239AnonymousInactiveI don’t promote them – and haven’t in so long that I forget what made me decide not to. I think unresponsiveness.
The situation with not paying fom casino players is ridiculous. I am certainly not going to start promoting them now.
July 15, 2004 at 7:41 pm #652280AnonymousGuestI regret that I will no longer be able to send players to a good and trusted poker room because of this.
I’ve sat here and though long and hard about it. On one hand, I want to recomend the best places to play – it’s a service to my visitors.
On the other hand, it’s also a business, and sending valuable traffic to them would be a bad business decision.
The people at pokerroom.com are crazy if they think they can sweep this under the rug. Lets keep this thread at the top long enough to warn CAP visitors who don’t come here on a daily basis.

July 15, 2004 at 8:53 pm #652295AnonymousGuestI never look, i just click on the links in the emails.
hahaha
July 16, 2004 at 12:10 am #652309AnonymousInactiveWe can ask Lou to move it to public forum, doesnt matter to me. Now I just need to find a few hours to get the rest of their links down.
Anyone know of a good no download poker site, we just launched a site that I had only The Poker Room on, need to replace it with a no download poker site.
July 16, 2004 at 12:31 am #652310AnonymousInactiveDamn, I let fly in the public area and everyone starts discussing it here…
Still no response from them though.

August 6, 2004 at 10:19 pm #653128AnonymousInactiveLou, not busting your balls, honestly, just curious how in the world these guys can still have a forum here when they haven’t even taken 2 minutes out to answer any questions.
August 12, 2004 at 5:03 pm #653323AnonymousInactiveI would really, really, REALLY, LIKE TO HEAR WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY!
This is despicable behaviour.
August 12, 2004 at 5:15 pm #653324AnonymousInactivestopped for a cuppa and couldn’t edit to add:
Who in hell is the marketing rep/company for this lot? SACK THEM.
Are affs so ineffectual in producing players that the market considers us near non-existent? ONLY IF YOU ARE STUPID.
Total lack of communication and a general reluctance to resolve the problem gets a big thumbs down here that WILL NOT be reversible.
I cannot believe such a short sighted marketing strategy from such a promising online entity.
