Poker players are known to be unsympathetic, unemotional, uncaring, involved, and even a bit Aspergerish at times. That is not the case lately though.
In fact, a good number of players have been taking up social causes and donating to charities as of late.
A good example of this is the brush fires devastating Australia. Quite a few players, both individual, as well as organizing together, have managed to raise a solid 6 figures to help Aussie citizens affected by these raging infernos.
Kudos to you guys and gals of the poker community!
