Welcome to CAP. I love Party Poker and I have a lot of success promoting the site. I am wondering if you anticipate any impact from new poker sites such as zerorake.com. They plan on charging 30 dollars a month to play poker without any rake. I would appreciate your input and thoughts regarding this issue.
Thanks
July 1, 2004 at 3:59 pm #651219AnonymousInactiveThanks Brian & Pokerfreak!!
Zerorake.com has an interesting variant of the revenue model compared to other poker rooms.
Prima-facie the player values might be low for the poker room ‘coz the revenue is capped, and hence the margins for the affiliates will be less.
We will however continue to follow the development of this revenue model closely.
Best wishes to zerorake.com

Any chance of displaying in stats the ammount of hits-in for party poker affiliate program?I would recommend implementing click tracking capabilities on your websites. That way you can track the number of hits you are sending to the program yourself. You will then be able to compare your numbers to the numbers presented by the programs that do offer those stats.
October 16, 2004 at 9:28 pm #656372AnonymousInactiveRegarding ZeroRake.com…
The players who care about the rake (or even know about it) tend to be the better players.
The better players realize this.
Most of the better players also realize that the best place to play is where the better players AREN’T at.
I’m not sure I’m explaining that very well, but I think you see where I’m going with this…I don’t think zerorake.com is going to be a threat at all.

January 25, 2006 at 3:04 am #681801AnonymousInactiveI notice that both of the affiliate program 888.com and party partners are advertising Party Poker. Is it ok, if I sign up for party partners? even though I am signed up for 888? and market Party Poker from both of the affiliate group? -
