welcome to CAP.
First off, I would like you to clarify something. We all have been discussing your change of terms here.
Now, how you structure the program is of course entirely up to you and no one has a problem with you doing business your way.
There is only one issue with the whole thing.
When I signed up, I agreed to the T&Cs you had at that time. I kept up my end and sent you players. Now I expect you to keep up your end and pay for them as we agreed.
What you will do in the future, with future players sent, can happen on a different set of rules. But you had a contract with me for the players I sent, and it now looks like you are breaking this contract.
The details, the why and how, are really quite irrelevant.
The problem is that I delivered according to contract and you propose not to pay according to contract.
You can’t change the price of something after you bought it. In real life, you would be taken to court and made to pay the agreed price. What you pay in future is up to you, but you can’t suddenly refuse to pay for what you have purchased.
I hope that is very clear.
The reason this is an issue that cannot be handled on a personal basis is because it sets an industry precedent.
Affiliates need to protect themselves from having broken contracts become a daily occurrance.
For that reason, I have removed your properties from all my sites and I will not put them back until you agree to pay for already delivered players as agreed.
October 9, 2008 at 12:30 am #781806AnonymousInactiveThere are three threads going on this very important problem now.
Frankly, I felt the Private one was the way to go, but it’s not my call.
Can we somehow get them all in one place so we aren’t missing or duplicating info?
Allen, Fred, or Jeff.
Do any of you actually intend to discuss this problem with us on this forum, or are you just going to pass demonstative Statements thru Lou?You say communication is King, but you guys won’t communicate.
You say the Player Quota thing has never been enforced, and you don’t intend to.
Why do you need it then? What you are doing is like setting off a Nuclear Bomb in the Affiliate Community.
Don’t you guys see that?Contracts and Agreements in this Biz are LEGAL bullshit.
I know it.
You guys know it.What’s not Bullshit is the TRUST that many of us have put in hundreds of Casino Affiliate Programs over the years.
That TRUST is exactly what we, and our Players all depend on when we promote a program. You can change anything you want going forward for new affiliates.
You can change anything you want going forward for exsiting affiliates, and they can make their decisions from there. If you change anything going backwards on exsiting affiliates, you have breeched a trust that the Industry was built on.
In closing this, please remember that it was not our decision, or preference that Playtech pull out of the U.S.. That hurt us a lot!
While it was great that you guys created BCP to preserve all of our JOINT hard work, U.S. Players, and Downlines,…..BUT that benefits you every bit as much as it does us.
Please guys, let’s get this resolved so we can all move ahead TOGETHER with CONFIDENCE and TRUST in EACH OTHER!!!!
Speech Concluded! Thanks!:roflmao:
