August 29, 2007 at 7:51 am #747121AnonymousInactiveThanks for the heads up – I’ve taken the affiliate id and I have already sent out a communique to the affiliate regarding this.
All the best,
Shane
August 29, 2007 at 10:51 am #747142AnonymousInactiveThat’s the longest I think it has ever taken you to respond to a request, Shane
I will say…. You seem to be the only one who has cared about this so far, though, and I am sure we ALL appreciate it! These spammers HAVE to stop, they are giving casinos a bad name again and that is VERY bad for us all.
Kudos for responding and taking action!

September 10, 2007 at 6:14 pm #748329AnonymousInactiveSo, did this spammer’s account get closed or what happened? A ‘communication’ is definitely not enough for an affiliate that steals email addresses, IMO.
I think you have spam guidelines that allow you to terminate without paying commissions.

September 14, 2007 at 11:55 am #748732AnonymousInactiveHi there KwlBlue,
To date we have received no further complaints regarding this affiliate from anyone who noted it as an issue originally, for this reason the affiliate account in question has not be closed.
Please find the process we follow regarding Spam Complaints below:
Spam complaint 1.
– We warn the affiliate that a spam complaint has been listed. We advise on all necessary CanSpam requirements.Spam complaint 2.
– All commissions due at this complaint are withheld and the affiliate is given the chance to comply to proper email marketing standards.Spam complaint 3.
– We close the account and all commission still being held as per ‘Spam Complaint 2’ above are forfeit. This entire process can be handled in a matter of days… we do not allow weeks on end between one step and another.
That said we will also not err the other way which is to consider 3 complaints from the same email to be suffiicient to take an affiliate from ‘warning’ to ‘closure’.

September 14, 2007 at 12:16 pm #748739AnonymousInactiveWhile I understand… This is the person that STOLE my email address from Platinum Play casino AND is a huge fucking spammer. Sorry for the language, but this person continues to spam me and many others.
This person has multiple re-direct sites to mask their affiliate id and is now currently spamming with other casinos.
Thanks for the work, but I think you should really look at ALL the facts including the BH tactics being used :flush:
September 14, 2007 at 1:06 pm #748743AnonymousInactiveI can understand your stance on this KwBlue especially with you passion for a fair affiliate marketing platform however if I was going about helter skelter nailing affiliates for each infringement I get emailed – trust me there are many, most which turn out to be unfounded – you would then be honor bound to post about ReferBacks indicriminate and unfair disciplinary policy.
To ensure a fair even handed practice ReferBack has the above process and we are honor bound to deal with all complaints of this nature accordingly.
