My advice would be to change the colour scheme, I started my first site with white on black, and it proved very unpopular indeed. However, it’s ultimately your choice. If it is a CMS, there are tools to offer alternative colour schemes form the main one, if you wish that is.

Lot of conflicting opinions on that. Most feel that black gives the notion of being in a casino…sorta what we prefer personally

Hi, here are some tips/issues I’ve found after looking around.

Is there any reason Betfair is spelled ‘Bet Fair’. Judging on the titles (basically the brand name only) you might want to make those more descriptive or at least target a long tail you want to rank for.

    – When someone clicks on Sportsbook Reviews, there should be some sort of a list or at least that’s expected. I know it’s on the right but people looking for information might not (don’t have the webmaster mindset).

    – When I click on the search button, without entering a keyword at all, it messes up the result page you can duplicate that issue easily.

    – As above, a button with text Sports Handicappers would have me thinking that I will see some sort of a list of handicappers or something similar and not general information on what handicapper is and what it takes to be a successful one.

Two things you can do about those Sportsbook Reviews and Sports Handicappers buttons, either rename them to something more descriptive or change the content that shows up.

    – You would want a forum button somewhere up there accessible not only from the front page. The last thing you would want is a visitor to come directly on another page and never even know you had a forum page.

In terms of the template the site is perfect.I’d extend the About page for sure, as it will help you build trust. People like to read about companies/people/sites etc.

    – Handicap 101 is empty, I am guessing it’s in progress and it’s unfinished.

I’d get rid of the home button and replace it with the forum one. Your logo directs to the main site anyways, plus on a psychological level will help the logo to stick in the visitor’s mind.

Not sure how that girl and those tits fit in the picture if it converts stick with it. To me it’s distracting :D cause it steals my attention from the rest of the site constantly.

That’s about it hope you find something useful in this wall of text :)
