Hi all at RB,
folks, someone needs to do some work on the wording of your terms if nothing more.
I can understand your not wanting us to havea domain named “riverbellecasinoonline.com” or somthing to that effect, but its rediculous to expect us not to use “riverbellecasino” in the address of a review page that is about …. riverbelle casino.
To what are we suppose to call this page? generic review #10?
and then are we also not suppose to use the word riverbelle casino in our review? where does it end?
I assume this is just an oversight and that you did not intend your terms to include that we should be punished for having a page named http://mydomain.com/riverbellecasinoreview.htm
however, by keeping it in the terms it sets us up for possible trouble down the line. So please put to rest our worries by changing your terms so that they allow such; or state otherwise now and if thats the case, it leaves little choice but to stop promoting your casinos, because I’ve already got a ton of pages that are named in some way or another having a casino’s name in the mix. And even if I tried to change them, just as I do with some links, I’d surely miss one or two and thus be setting myself up for losing my account later.
Better to cut my losses now, if you can understand that, and I think you do.

I just don’t get it? right now we are basically the sole providers of traffic since buying ads is so hard to do; and then this idea of no commission on first deposits?
if its the bonus thing, then I think the affiliate should have the option whether or not to offer a bonus. Personally I know I can sell a casino using only the loyalty benefits and the fact the casino is a fair and honorable one.
that said; also please tell me that the loss of player after 6 months is not a rectroactive term, because that is not the deal I made with RB when I sent the players I currently have with them.
Wayne you know I’m a reasonable, pretty easy going guy. I’m willing to work with RB/its casinos in just about anyway that treats me with the dignity and fair-mindedness that anybody who enters into a contract with good faith; should deserve.
Please do your best to see to it that at the end of the day, the right thing is done. I’m an oldie and I can tell you that these things have a way of giving what is handed out.

which is not one iota from being the absolute truth.
on my site it might not mean much, but on thousands of sites, about 500 of which I can say I know this will happen just figuring the handfull of affs I’ve talked with who some own literally 100s; its going to take a heck of a toll because players are going to say “oh shit! I wonder what’s up with aceshigh?”.
This isn’t meant as a threat, but the simple truth. I ask you: to how much loyalty do you feel towards a person that promised to pay you $100 for work you already did; and that you know they profited at least twice that much, if not more; and then when came time to pay they tell you that if you don’t come up with another lead, that they’re only going to pay you $80?
I’m a damn loyal person who will go a long ways towards taking care of those that show me the same respect. I know I’m worth it. Therefore I cannot accept less from those I choose to associate myself with. I think any person of strong character, the kind you’d like to have as a friend or partner or mate – is sooooo much worth … not mistreating. Because for all that; all you have to do is be honorable to what you promised, and that I remind you; what it was that made you successful currently.
Please talk to your people and make them understand (in simplified terms)
1. its a long life; burning bridges now are quite hard to rebuild
2. they have few options to get quality traffic. How many affs are going to be interested in a) not getting anything for a player’s first deposit b) then risking the fact that if that player is unable to play for 6 months (geez, I know people who were in the hospital longer than that) that we lose them.
3. It may be that we affs will be either redirecting all RB traffic to a page telling them at this time we cannot recommend you play at these casinos for reasons we cannot disclose at this time: or that we will flat out post on our front pages; :due to the fact I’ve lost trust in financial matters with the following casinos, I cannot any longer recommend them”. followed by a list of casinos by name.I hope and pray that the terms impemented above are not retro; as that crosses the line for me. anything from today on is my choice whether to choose to agree to it or not; but retro = criminal action in my book and I will not be kind about the way I warn people away from casinos that have chosen to not meet their original contracted financial obligations.
This is by no means being hard-assed. Geez I just want to be treated as fairly as you would rightfully expect me to treat you.
Please talk to the powers that be and beg them to consider the big picture; and how things might be either really good for all of us in a year, or how it could be that we all suffer a needless, frustrating, and with all the possible mud slinging etc that could possibly result; see our very industry fall from the graces that it has scratched and crawled its way up to reaching a point of respectability and trust with players.
I’m not even saying this because I’m worried about my relationship with RB. I’m worried there will get to be such out of hand accusations and insinuations that nobody will want to play online.
There’s already the huge issue of ID theft and the legal hassles. Do we really need this as well?

If this is not a mistake then Referback are seriously taking the piss.
Add this to the other terms and conditions changes, then it looks like Referback will be the latest to be removed from my sites. I look forward to their response before I start updating my site accordingly.
