I need to hire a PHP/MySQL programmer for a project. I know I can go to rent-a-coder or elance, but I would really like to work with someone who I know or someone who has been used by someone I know. I have tried to take a crash course in PHP/MySQL and have decided that it is best to hire it out.
My thoughts are that this will be a short project for someone who knows what they are doing, probably just a day or two, but I may be wrong.
Any point in the right direction is appreciated, or if anyone here is interested, please let me know. Not in a huge time crunch, and if it matters, this application is not for a gambling related web site.

I am searching for a php/MYSQL programmer at least 10 hours a week. I cannot afford a lot like some of you but I can pay $35 per hour if they are good.
