The Heartland Institute has posted a pretty great rundown of the state of online gambling in the United States. This article states why Barney Frank’s bill to legalize and regulate online gambling in the U.S. may actually get passed in 2010. Read it here.
This is a good summary, but I wouldn’t expect any action until after the mid-term elections. And assuming that Republicans reclaim some seats in Congress this November, the chances of legalization will be reduced further, IMO.
