In good times and bad, in all aspects of life it is always a good thing to diversify. I was hoping we could start a thread here that could jump start some of us into other affiliate marketing areas and share ideas that would help us all establish additional revenue streams.
My background has been in the online dating arena and I was a top Match.com affiliate before getting into online casino marketing. I have let that business die over the past few years and I regret it. So, I am going to begin websites that promote online dating again while I continue to monitor the status of our current business. But..since I have been out of promoting the online personals for awhile, I am not familiar with the best affiliate programs in this area, nor what the best traffic-generating ideas are. Maybe some other affiliates at here can help brainstorm…
Perhaps some of you are already in other viable affiliate businesses? If so please share which ones. I am looking for advice and brainstorming sessions with others so that we can all diversify and not rely so heavily on one revenue sourceI would like to hear from others about what other affiliate/online marketing they do and get suggestions about the best way to break into that business.
I am hoping this thread becomes popular enough to Sticky and will provide a valuable resource for those of us looking to branch out our affiliate marketing efforts.

However, I appreciate the response. I have added links to Adult Friend Finder in the ‘Adult Personals’ area of my dating sites and made some decent money with limited exposure.
What I am more interested in is having others (like yourself) who have been successful in this area share their traffic-generating techniques. Now, with Online Casino affiliate programs, it has been effective to write, for example, Slots Reviews or Online casino Reviews or create strategy guides for different games..so the articles were what really drove the traffic.
I would think with Adult Personals, people arent coming to your links because of articles you wrote, so HOW do you get the traffic to make 2k/month from AFF? THAT’s the kind of information I want to exchange!
Oh, I apologize then. If its not allowed will someone let me know so I can edit/remove it? I earn 2k per month by running a couple of very well known “shock sites”, I don’t even have to advertise, its all word of mouth advertising and I get around 35k visits per day between them. I invested $2,100 in my original shock site as it already had lots of traffic and backlinks.

I am not sure I want to subject any of you to that type of content! It is not death related, or self mutilation, just a shocking video of two guys lol. It is meant to prank friends and such which is why it does so well spreading via word of mouth.
