June 22, 2006 at 6:28 pm #696417AnonymousInactivegreek39 wrote:ecogra does not just over see player complaints now do they? greek39From eCOGRA’s home page:
For sites bearing the eCOGRA seal, we have ensured that our requirements are independently and consistently checked and rechecked by a globally recognized international accounting firm. And, in the unlikely event a problem develops while playing at an approved site, eCOGRA has developed a first class, fast, free player dispute mediation service. Additionally, we offer you a Fair Gaming Advocate, accessible on the eCOGRA site.
Your Advocate is available to represent you as a player, designed to be your voice and assure your questions, concerns and queries receive attention in a prompt, professional manner.
Further more I have been informed that they have yet to receive one complaint from a player concerning the reasons why we have rogued en-masse 888.
I am out of this thread. I have more important things to than go round in circles.
June 22, 2006 at 6:32 pm #696418AnonymousInactiveI will throw in my complaint this week and see how they handle it. greek39

Let us not forget that the 888 issues far out reaches players concerns and webmaster issues.
Correct me if I’m wrong here, but main stream internet user get bombarded by the 888 crap 24/7. If it’s not from redirected BH affiliates, it comes directly from 888 or its subsidiaries posting crap to blogs or doing their own BH SEO.
I’m growing a little tired of hearing the “it’s not a player complaint” crap.
Besides using this dogmatic retort every time sounds daft. Especially when its stacked up against eCogra’s stand on the Jackpot Factory issue.
I’ve not disputed what JF did was wrong, it was, it is and they should be held responsible for their actions.
Can you honestly say with all sincerity and conviction that what eCogra has not done in regards to 888 when transposed to the action swiftly taken on Jackpot Factory, is fair, honourable, just?
In the same token as eCogra took action on JF so it should also hold 888 to its infractions (and there are many as you well know) of eCogra’s eGAP policies.
Any other stance on eCogra’s part in direct address of 888 and it’s eGAP policy infringements speaks volumes, what those volumes shout should be as clear as the nose on ones face. That is, if one is being true to ones own integrity, that is!
June 22, 2006 at 7:16 pm #696430AnonymousInactiveI agree for now more pressing issues have just come in.

What you failed to give; like most caught in your own self indulgent doctrine, is the true facts.
The statement above from eCogra’s home page, is then withdrawn at the bottom of their sealed casino page:
eCogra wrote:http://www.ecogra.com/approved.aspx?OP=PWhile eCOGRA does its utmost to ensure compliance with its principles, it cannot offer 100% assurance that the operation of any games at any given site is at all times in accordance with the eCOGRA requirements. Obviously your another one blinded to eCogra’s labyrinth of statement retractions.
At the top of the page of reputable portals it eCogra states this:
eCogra wrote:http://www.ecogra.com/reputable_portals.aspx?OP=P
In seeking as wide a protection for the player as possible, eCOGRA has identified a number of portals where we are confident that players can benefit from the integrity and quality of the content, and the commitment to fair play and customer service of the portalmaster. While this list is not exhaustive, it is a good start for players seeking independent forum interaction, solid information and balanced online casino references:
(list of portals follows.)
Yes you guessed it, in typical eCogra retraction style this is posted at the foot of the reputable portal page.

By all means it’s your right to post your opinions, I actually welcome them. However don’t make the mistake of getting your opinions mixed up with facts. And please don’t try to patronise me into an area where your attempting to make me look foolish.
For someone who seems apt on the eCogra subject, it certainly seems from here that you really need to get with the program.
June 22, 2006 at 7:58 pm #696434vladcizsolMemberWager lets keep things civil and on topic please. CAP is not tolerant of flaming other members no matter how passionately you may feel about an issue. Please do not derail an otherwise valuable thread of discussions. You are getting increasingly shrill and its not helpful to Jackpot Factory.
June 22, 2006 at 8:18 pm #696435AnonymousInactiveMy apologies Professor.
Though it’s no justification, I took “I have more important things to than go round in circles.” as a backhanded slap. Which I unfortunately bit on.
I’ll make a conscious effort not to take a derogative line.
Cheers
June 22, 2006 at 9:06 pm #696441vladcizsolMemberNo worries. Carry on guys it’s a good topic.
June 22, 2006 at 10:27 pm #696446AnonymousInactiveThanks
Though, I’m done for today. Tried to grab some sleep but couldn’t, so firing up Oblivion, I’ll take my frustrations out on some demonic orcs and such…
Cheers

I agree with professor above and apologize for helping derail the topic. Lets not get any further derailed here. If we need to lets start another thread regarding 888 and ecogra and keep this one concentrating on jackpot factory.
Best of luck to Jackpot Factory, I think you are going to need it.
June 23, 2006 at 8:24 am #696496AnonymousInactiveaxl wrote:If we need to lets start another thread regarding 888 and ecogra and keep this one concentrating on jackpot factory.IMO this is one of those hard threads to determine. I agree it’s about Jackpot Factory foremost, though, I also believe that eCogra and 888 are intertwined.
It’s a hard call at best.
Though given that it’s starting to become more about eCogra/888 than Jackpot Factory, In maybe best to move it to its own thread. Least this allows a continued continuity.
Is it possible to move some of these threads Professor, and start a new thread under this exact topic?
Cheers
June 23, 2006 at 11:32 am #696505vladcizsolMemberYou are welcome to start an alternate thread about 888 and eCogra. This thread should hopefully remain a discussion of the Jackpot Factory situation.
